"Sage, wait." he shouted pero hindi ako lumingon it will make things complicated if I continue to talk to him pa.
Pinagpatuloy ko ang paglalakad hanggang makarating ako sa hotel where I am staying in. Papasok na sana ako ay naramdaman ko nalang na may humawak sa kamay ko.
Ang bilis naman sumunod ng lalaki na to. I said in my mind
Kaya lumingon agad ako sa kaniya. I don't want to make a scene kaya hinila ko siya papunta sa garden ng hotel na ito.

"Look Nate hindi naman ganun kadali ang gusto mo." I said facing him at binitawan ang kamay niya nang makarating na kami sa garden
He looked at me before saying a word
"I'm sorry Sage." Panimula niya bago tumingin sa mga mata ko and I did the same.
I wanted to understand him for this kind of setup that he wanted. But he is making it hard for me because he is not talking.
He was silent for a few minutes na, I didn't even know what to say. We just stared at each other waiting for someone to break it.
Naiinip na ako, Hindi ba to magsasalita. Sabi ko nalang sa isip isip ko
A minute had passed, two and three still no words coming from him. Kaya nagsalita na ako.
"Nate aalis na ako if you don't have anything to say," I said to end the conversation
Tumingin muna ako saglit sa kaniya to get the hint that I needed before walking away from him. A hint na wala na kaming dapat pang pag-usapan pa.
I was about to walk when he spoke
"It may be sudden, but can we give it a try? I mean we can do all the steps of dating after getting married." He said unsure of his words
Ilan ba nahithit nitong katol. Hibang na sya.
"Nate kakakilala lang natin kahapon, and I'm just here for vacation." I said not to sound rude but I'm starting to get annoyed
"I know, but we can get to know each other along the process." He suggested
Which I find strange, because how can he say that? We don't even know each other's life.
"Bakit ganiyan ka magsalita? parang ang dali lang sayo ang lahat? you're being desperate." I said confusedly
It's just not right. What he was proposing is not something that needs an urgent response. It's so sudden.
"I don't know, there's something in me that I want to know you more. After seeing you the other day na umiiyak." He said
He is persistent. One thing I noticed in him kahit dalawang beses lang kaming nagkita.
"Baka naaawa ka lang sakin Nate, don't stir your emotions." I said looking straight at him
"But I want to know you more, Sage" he insisted
That made me feel frustrated.
"Nate, enough, wala itong patutunguhan." I said not showing any emotion at nag umpisa na din akong maglakad
"Sage wait, can you just at least consider it?" Pahabol niyang sabi which made me want to get away from him.
I just look in his eyes and turn my back. I don't want to answer because it's just not right. We don't know each other, and we are talking about marriage. I don't want to regret everything for the decision I am not sure about.

How can a person be so sure of the things they want?
I can't just agree with his proposal. It's not just like ordering food in a restaurant.
