Astraea's eyes opened slowly, a bright light blinding her eyes as she woke. She was in a hospital gown, an IV pricked in her forearm. Her body felt incredibly sore as she sat up, feeling something heavy on her leg.
She looked down to see Midoriya sleeping soundly with his head rested on her bed, Todoroki and Bakugo sleeping in chairs next to him. They each had scars and bandages wrapped in different areas of their body.
Midoriya stirred rubbing his eyes before opening them slowly, setting his gaze on her crying, "You're awake" Midoriya mumbles groggily
"Hey how are feeling?" She whispered, her eyes still adjusting to the light
"Better now I guess. You look a lot better than me though". He chuckled, showing off his bandages.
"What are you talking about? I had a bunch of holes shot through me—" She felt for the injuries she gained in battle but realized there was nothing there. Only a few spots of star clustered patches and fresh skin.
"I could've sworn I had a bunch of scars here and my hand too".
"You healed yourself when you fought Flect remember? You had this giant armor aura thingy floating around you being the crap out of him"
"I can't even touch a soul without panicking, what makes you think I can do that?" Midoriya's face twisted with confusion. She didn't even remember beating him then, all she remembered was Rody taking the key to the control room.
"Rody. How is he?" Midoriya nodded to her, she breathed a sigh of relief knowing he was safe
"Astraea, you're awake" Todoroki rubbed his eyes
"It's about damn time, you sleep like a log".
She launched out of the hospital bed, hugging the two of them tight, "Your earpieces stop working mid fight and I had no idea where you were! I was so worried about you both, what happened to you two?" Todoroki placed a hand on her back while Bakugo attempted to swat her off of him.
"I got attacked by someone who tried to drown me in water"
"I fought these two ugly ass serpent twins with spiked whips." Bakugo cackled.
"Sounds eventful." She turned to Midoriya and hugged him, "I forgot to thank you for saving me and keeping Rody safe".
He held her tight, resting his head on her shoulder, "We should be thanking you for everything you've done for us, you defeated Flect Turn all by yourself Astraea. You're the real hero here."
"No I owe you guys my life. Without you three, I would've never made it through this. I hate to say it but I would've died without you here. I don't even know how to repay you." Their conversation was cut short when a detective, Japan's chief of police, pro hero Endeavor, and pro hero Aizawa stepped into the room.
"Father what are you doing here" Todoroki's expression dimmed as his father stared him down.
"We don't mean any harm Shoto, we just came to ask a few questions." His flames heated up the room as he turned to Astraea.
"You're Astraea Konya correct?"
"Yes sir Endeavor, is there something I can help you with?" She backed from his heat before her face melted off.
