I fixed the hem of my skirt and ensured I didn't look out of place. A sharp exhale escapes my lips as I grab my bag and coat, Seungcheol's driver is waiting for me out front. On day one of Seungcheol's plan falling into action, was I nervous? Not nervous just skeptical about the kind of woman his aunt could be.

I locked the door before rushing to the elevators, "Oh I'm sorry, are you going downstairs as well?" I asked looking at the shy woman who seemed young for her age to be living alone "Um yeah," She said with a small smile. I press the lobby button, "Are you a new neighbor?" I asked, she shook her head. "No, I was visiting a friend. I'm Lizbeth," She said with a small smile as the elevator door opened. We step inside, "Mitxy, I'm guessing your friend is Hansol?" I asked seeing she had walked out of the fourth door on the left. She looked surprised and nodded, "Do you know Hansol?" Lizbeth asked gripping her bookbag. I bite my lip seeing a familiar keychain hanging on the zipper, "Yeah, Hansol is my brother's best friend so I see him occasionally." I said.

"Cute keychain," I said, Lizbeth smiles and looks at it. "Thank you it was a gift." She says the door opens. "See you around Lizbeth," I said with a smile before walking over to the black Range Rover where Darren was waiting. "Good Morning Ms. Hong, Mr. Choi is already on his way to the Villa." He says with a smile, he opens the door for me. Villa? What is Seungcheol planning?

I look at my phone, Joshua had sent a message about speaking with Wonwoo's brother about an open position at the clinic where he works. I bite my bottom lip, I haven't spoken to Wonwoo after quitting. And now he's going out of his way to have his brother give me the open position at the family clinic, he's too good for me.

I let a sigh escape my lips the car comes to a stop, and I look out the window. This isn't the Choi Villa, no this villa is more on the modern minimalist villas. Darren opens the door, "Mr. Choi is waiting." He says as he helps me out of the car. "Thank you Darren but I can walk from here," I said with a small smile. He smiles faintly and nods before walking back to the car, I walk up the stone stairs leading to another pair of stone stairs that reach two big black wooden doors with golden handles. So much for minimalistic, this man doesn't seem to know what modern minimalist is this is luxury minimalist.

I push open one of the doors, I peek my head in slowly before stepping inside completely. I cover my mouth in awe, the villa is covered in dark gray walls and black colored doors. The kitchen was gray with black cabinets and marbled floors, I looked at the stairs with colored railings. "Choi Seungcheol...you" I muttered seeing a cute white poodle running downstairs barking, I smiled faintly seeing a cute pink bow on its head.

"Kkuma," Seungcheol's voice was soft, I looked up at the stairs. "Yah, Choi Seungcheol...you didn't tell me you had a dog," I said with a smile as the white poodle wagged its tail as Seungcheol reached the last step. Seungcheol was in dark red trousers and a black dress shirt, "I see you had no trouble finding the front door." He says with a smirk. I furrowed my brows, "Why? Was I supposed to struggle?" I asked. He chuckles and shakes his head, "Many had trouble finding the front door." He says picking up the cute poodle. "And this is Kkuma she's—you could say, my baby." He says walking into the kitchen, I smile and chuckle as I follow him. "Aww you do have a soft spot," I said sitting on one of the black stools, Seungcheol set Kkuma on the floor.

"I do have a soft spot for Kkuma," He says and looks at me, "So what made you have your driver bring me here?" I asked. Seungcheol sighs, "I wanted to give you a chance." He says. I furrowed my brows in confusion, "A chance for what exactly?" I asked. He walks over to me, and my heartbeat quickens. "Work with me," He says, I look at him perplexed.

"Work with you?" I asked, he chuckles. "Yes, I want you to work with me as my assistant. You have worked in business before...with Mingyu." Seungcheol says with a small smile, I look up at him and let a sigh escape my lips. "I haven't worked in business since I was twenty-two," I said, I probably lost my touch in business. I bite my bottom lip, and Seungcheol's hand rests on my shoulder. I look at him, "Just think about it. I'll give you...a week." He says his fingers brushing my hair to the side. My eyes watched his expressions, they were soft and filled with a—adoration? I grab his hand, "Seungcheol...what—why does your aunt resent you so much?" I asked, he looked at my hand before grabbing hold of it.

"Aunt Sekyung lost her son in a tragic accident when I was in high school." He says, I bite my bottom lip. "And she blames you for the accident?" I asked, Seungcheol sighed and nodded. "Aunt Sekyung blames me for the accident since I was there that day, at the same party as Sunkyun. My aunt was against Sunkyun going to the party but he had his way to get grandfather to agree with him which is why Aunt Sekyung doesn't favor my grandfather that much." He says, I look at Seungcheol and sigh. "How does Sekyung blame you for her son's death? You're the youngest of your family which would mean Sunkyun was older." I said, Seungcheol lets go of my hand and walked over to the counter.

"Sunkyun's death was caused by a fight that broke out that night. I caused that fight but because of Wonwoo's irrational anger got the best of him. I had to intervene I wasn't going stand and watch Wonwoo risk his life for over something stupid." He sighs, "Sunkyun got involved with the wrong group of friends that night and got caught in a crossfire. Aunt Sekyung blamed me because I wasn't watching him. Although grandfather disagreed with my aunt about blaming me since I was the youngest." He says and turns to face me. I bite my bottom lip, "Wonwoo fight? That doesn't sound like him at all, also it's not your fault since you didn't know that your cousin was involved with the wrong crew." I said looking at him with sympathy.

"Anyways that's another reason why Aunt Sekyung can't tolerate me," He says shrugging it off. "Think about the position," He says, I nod and give him a small smile. "I will," I said, I crossed my arms.

Wonwoo and Seungcheol went to high school together? Then that makes them both twenty-eight if they grew up together why do they dislike each other?
