We arrived at Giyuu's house, the air thick with the scent of popcorn and something sweet. He was already setting up in the living room, a mountain of snacks piled on the coffee table.

"Movie night," he said, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down my spine. "Just us two."
"We should just hang out," I suggested, trying to sound casual.

"Sleep over," he said, his gaze unwavering. "I don't want to hang out. but I want to be with you."

I crossed my arms, my heart pounding in my chest. "Stop it," I said, trying to sound tough.

He chuckled, a light, playful sound that made my stomach twist. "Why are you falling for me too?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

My face flushed, and a shiver ran down my spine, leaving me momentarily speechless. What the hell was happening to me? This wasn't supposed to be happening.

Thankfully, he didn't notice my internal turmoil. "No fucking way," I managed to stammer out, my voice barely a squeak.

"I'm fucking confused about myself," I muttered, my voice barely a whisper. The words hung in the air, a testament to the chaos swirling within me.

Giyuu, oblivious to my internal turmoil, started the movie. Horror. Of course. I didn't really like horror movies, but I wasn't about to admit that to him.

"Let's watch," he said, settling beside me on the couch. We were both armed with different snacks, a silent agreement that we were in this together.

"We should just watch action," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.

"Why? Are you scared?" he asked, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Fuck no," I snapped, glaring at him. But my voice.

He chuckled, a sound that was both playful and disarming. "Chill, Sanemi," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

The movie was halfway through, and I was starting to relax, convinced it wasn't actually that scary. Then, BAM! A jump scare exploded on the screen, and I yelped, leaping out of my seat. I didn't even realize I was holding onto Giyuu until I felt his arm tighten around me.

"Oh, sorry," he said, his voice laced with amusement.

"You wasted the snack," he said, gesturing to the popcorn scattered on the floor.

"Oh...the movie scared me," I mumbled, my cheeks burning.

"I knew it. You're scared," he said, his fingers lightly poking my side.

"The fuck are you doing?" I snapped, swatting his hand away. "Stop it," I said, but he just continued to tease me, his fingers lightly tracing circles on my ribs.

"Just admit it. You're scared," he said, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down my spine.

"No, I'm not!" I growled, but my voice was shaky.

He suddenly started tickling me, and I burst into a fit of laughter, trying to wriggle away. "Ahhhh! Stop it, fucker!" I screamed, my laughter turning into a desperate plea.

He just laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. I couldn't help but laugh along with him, eventually giving in to the tickling attack. I retaliated, tickling him back, the laughter echoing through the room.

The movie was forgotten, the flickering images on the screen a blur as our laughter filled the room.

Giyuu was tickling me relentlessly, his fingers dancing across my ribs, eliciting shrieks of laughter that turned into desperate pleas for mercy. We were both sprawled on the couch, a tangle of limbs and giggles.

Suddenly, Giyuu shifted, and we both lost our balance, tumbling off the couch in a heap.

We landed with a thud on the floor, our bodies intertwined in a tangle of limbs and tangled emotions. I landed on my back, my breath catching in my throat as Giyuu's weight pressed down on me.

"Damn it!" I cursed, my breath catching in my throat. I was sprawled on the floor, my arms pinned beneath Giyuu's weight.

Our eyes met, a spark igniting between us, a silent connection that transcended words. His gaze held mine captive, a deep, unwavering intensity that sent a shiver down my spine.

It was like an invisible string, taut and shimmering, stretched between our pupils, pulling us closer, irrevocably.

I felt a strange heat bloom in my chest, a sensation that was both exhilarating and terrifying. Before I could even register what was happening, our lips met.

It was a soft, tentative touch at first, but it quickly deepened, a rush of sensation that made my head spin. I felt a surge of heat, a wave of something I couldn't name, something that made my heart race and my breath hitch.

I was caught completely off guard, my mind reeling. This wasn't supposed to be happening.

I was supposed to be in control, but my body seemed to have a mind of its own. The heat in my chest intensified, spreading through my limbs, leaving me breathless and confused.

My senses jolted back to reality as I felt Giyuu's hand slide beneath my shirt, a touch that sent a jolt of heat through my body. I pulled back, pushing him away with a force that surprised even me.

"Fuck," I cursed under my breath, my voice a low growl.

A wave of confusion and shame washed over me. I almost felt like crying, but I choked it back, my throat constricting with the force of my own emotions. I didn't understand what had just happened. Why had I kissed him? It was so wrong.

Kissing wasn't part of the plan. It wasn't supposed to happen. "Fuck...fuck...fuck," I muttered, my mind racing, trying to make sense of the chaos within me.

"Sanemi, are you okay?" Giyuu asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Of course not, fucker!" I shouted, pushing him again, my anger a shield against the vulnerability that threatened to consume me.

"I'm going," I said, my voice shaking.

"Forget the sleepover...especially forget this happened."

I turned and walked out, the weight of my confusion and shame pressing down on me like a physical burden.

I needed to get out of there, to escape the whirlwind of emotions that had me spinning. I needed to find some semblance of order in the chaos that had become my world.

...In the first place, I shouldn't have gone with him. I shouldn't have let myself get close. I hated him. I hated the whole marriage. At least, that's what I told myself.

That's what I believed. But now, standing here, the weight of his touch still lingering on my skin, the taste of his kiss still lingering on my lips, I wasn't so sure anymore.
