ZARA POV

I stepped into the expansive hall, its grandeur evoking a sense of paradise.

"Mashallah, so beautiful,"

I murmured, my voice barely escaping through the layers of my veil as I absorbed the breathtaking elegance around me. Just then, the familiar sound of Jisoo eonnie's voice reached my ears.

A smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I saw her approaching, her own face alight with warmth. But my gaze, momentarily distracted, fell upon Mr. Junghyung, Jungkook, and Arbaz, who were gathered nearby, their eyes locking onto me. A wave of surprise washed over me, but I quickly turned my attention back to Jisoo eonnie, regaining my composure.

"Oh my, you came!" Jisoo exclaimed, her arms enveloping me in a heartfelt hug. I embraced her, feeling a profound sense of connection.

"I had to, eonnie. As Jungkook's secretary, it's part of my role," I explained softly, as she gently led me further into the room. Lisa soon appeared, her presence bringing an additional layer of comfort.

"Hey, Zara, how are you? Are you doing well?" she asked, her hug a comforting reminder of our bond.

"You look stunning," I said sincerely, watching as her cheeks flushed with a delicate pink. She placed her hand on her heart with an exaggerated gesture, her playful charm drawing a genuine smile from me.

From the edge of my vision, I noticed Mr. Junghyung approaching. I smiled softly behind my veil, feeling the weight of the moment as I prepared to greet him.

"Hey, Miss Zara," he said, his voice carrying a note of familiarity that made me feel a bit more at ease.

I offered a warm smile and replied, "Assalamualaikum, Mr. Jeon. How have you been?"

His response was casual, yet there was an undertone of warmth. "Come on, no need for formalities. You're not my secretary anymore."

I shook my head slightly, a gesture of respect and acknowledgment. "But you used to be my boss. I still hold that respect for you, Mr. Jeon."

His smile deepened, and he rubbed the back of his neck, a gesture of modesty or perhaps discomfort. I turned my gaze, seeking solace in the movement of the room.

My eyes met Jungkook's, who was leaning in a conversation with the manager. Yet, despite his engagement with the manager, his eyes were steadfastly on me. My heart skipped a beat, and I quickly looked away, feeling a flush of nervousness.

Jungkook then started walking towards us, his presence commanding attention.

"Can I borrow my secretary?" he asked, his gaze flicking towards Jisoo, Rose, and Mr. Junghyung. The words, though light, carried an undertone that made my heart race.
