Assalamualaikum 🤍

As I sit to write to you today, my heart fills with warmth and gratitude. Each one of you who takes the time to read my words, to support my journey as a writer, and to engage with the stories I weave—you are all precious to me. May Allah bless you, guide you, and grant you success in both this life and the next.

When I first began writing, I was just a small writer, uncertain of where my words would take me. I never expected that my journey would lead me here—to all of you. I still remember the beginning, my very first story, Journey to Faith. It was not just a story; it was a part of my heart, my thoughts, my emotions woven into words. And you—you embraced it, supported it, and gave me the courage to keep writing.

I was just one person with a pen and a heart full of emotions, but you turned me into something more. You made me realize that words have power, that stories can touch souls, that even through a screen, hearts can connect. You were there when I doubted myself, when I wondered if my words were enough. And because of you, I kept going.

We stand on the doorstep of Ramadan, the most sacred month, where Allah’s mercy descends like rain upon dry lands. A time when the doors of Jannah are flung open, the gates of Jahannam are shut, and the shayateen are chained. This is a time for us to return to our Rabb, to seek His forgiveness, and to strengthen our bond with Him.

I want to remind you, and myself first, that Ramadan is not just about fasting from food and drink; it is about purifying the soul, cleansing the heart, and detaching from the distractions of this dunya. It is a golden chance to renew our niyyah (intentions), to set aside the things that distance us from Allah, and to embrace the things that bring us closer to Him.

My dear ones, do not let this Ramadan slip away.

Let us increase in dhikr, salah, Qur’an recitation, and sincere du’as. Let us be mindful of our health, eating in moderation, resting well, and taking care of the bodies Allah has entrusted us with. I know life gets busy, responsibilities pile up, and the world constantly pulls us in different directions, but if we do not take this chance to reconnect with our Creator, then when will we?

Hold onto your deen with all your strength, even when the world makes it difficult. Protect your imaan like a precious jewel, for there is no greater loss than a heart that drifts away from Allah.

As for my writing…

I have been contemplating my next story, and I find myself standing at a crossroads. Many of you have supported my book featuring my beloved Hayati (jimin and taehyung ) and I truly appreciate your love for it. But my heart whispers to me—should I continue this story as it is? Or should I reshape it, giving it a new direction? Or perhaps, should I set it aside and instead write a book on Palestine, a story of resistance, faith, and the unbreakable spirit of my brothers and sisters who endure hardships yet never lose hope in Allah?

I want to write something that benefits not just the heart, but also the soul. Something that reminds us of our Ummah, our responsibilities, and the truth that this world is temporary. Palestine is not just a land; it is a wound in our Ummah, a test upon our hearts. Maybe this is where my words should be. Maybe this is the story that should be told.

But I do not want to make this decision alone. I turn to you, my dear readers, and ask for your thoughts. What should I do? Should I continue my current book, or should I embark on a new journey—one that sheds light on the struggles and triumphs of our brothers and sisters in Palestine?

Whatever I write, my ultimate goal remains the same: to use my words for good, to inspire, to awaken, and to remind that our true purpose is to worship Allah and seek His pleasure.

So as we approach Ramadan, let us make sincere du’a for guidance in every aspect of our lives. Let us pray for each other, for our loved ones, and for our entire Ummah. Let us remember that the stories we live, the choices we make, and the words we leave behind—they all become part of our legacy.

May Allah bless you all, grant you ease in your struggles, strengthen your faith, and fill your hearts with peace.

With love and du’as,
Zeba🦋
