"ugh..." A brown magnifying glass groaned in exhaustion.

*knock knock*

"Rodger?" Brightney, coming in and interrupting Rodgers studies, She knocked on the doorframe and watched as Rodger stared hard at his paper. "Brightney.? What is it?" Brightney puffed. "Overworking yourself, again." Rodger stayed silent for a moment. "Don't you see how late it is?? Its- it's like, almost 2am!!"

"Then what're you still doing up??-"

"I was waiting for you. Then fell asleep, Woke up, and you were not beside me. So I came looking for you in your usual spot."

"Brightney.." Rodger sat up straight, but still not facing her. "I, apologize.." Rodger sighed. Brightney smiled. "It's no biggie." She walked closer to Rodger and put a blanket on his shoulders. "..Yknow, Toodles had a nightmare. She was looking for you today."

"I told her you were busy cause I didn't wanna interrupt your studies..but, this is too much. Rodger, you gotta learn to take breaks from time to time, this.. This isn't healthy."

"I know.." Rodger put down his pen and turned around. "I try to make time and I just- I can't..Again I apologize love." Brightney smiled at this. "Then... We'll work on it, together. And, maybe I can help! I know a little something about what your researching over here" Bright said in a playful tone. "Whaat? No way." Rodger chuckled. "No really! She said, going to the paper Rodger was working on.

"Woah this looks rough. Erm, Rodger?"

"Hm?"

"Ya made a mistake here. This doesn't even make sense, are you really that tired to a point that you lost proper grammar?" She smirked. Rodger rubbed his eye and looked at the paper. "Yikes. I'll fix that-"

"Tomorrow, you'll fix it tomorrow. Right now it's time to rest." Brightney held out a hand. "Cmon, you'll thank me later." She smiled. "Alright.." Rodger turned off his desk lamp and brightney turned herself on. Making light in the dark room. Holding hands, Brightney and Rodger walked down the dark hallway, quietly, making sure not to wake anyone else. "Love?"

"Hm?"

"Thank you for.. Well, taking care of me, I usually don't get to do it myself."

"I know, and, your welcome. How could I not care for you? You're sweet & caring! And I'm sure Toodles would agree." Rodger blushed a little at the kind remarks.

"We're here!" Brightney opened the door, and without another second being wasted she picked Rodger up(bridal style) and took him to the bed. "Woa- brightney what're you-?!"

"Shh, that's enough words from you, it's relaxing time." Brightney finally got the room and sat Rodger on the bed, Toodles in the middle. She put covers over Rodger and sat beside toodles, making sure to put covers over her, then herself. She finally laid down and sat on her side, looking at Rodger. "*yawn.* Goodnight, love." She closed her eyes. "Goodnight.." They both slowly fell asleep, holding hands over toodles, kinda like they her giving her a big hug.
