**Author POV**

On April 1, 2019, the world faced another cataclysmic event. The Umbrella Academy traveled back in time to prevent the apocalypse. But as it turns out, they brought the end of the world with them once more. Now, they find themselves scattered throughout the timeline, each landing in a different year. This time, they arrived in 2013, a town brimming with supernatural secrets. The six of them found themselves in Mystic Falls, a place where vampires, witches, and other creatures of the night roamed freely.

**Five POV**

"Luther? Diego?" I yell out, but I can't find my siblings anywhere. Confused, I wander through the streets of what seems to be a decent-looking town. I try looking for people to ask questions, and I stumble across a little bar called "The Mystic Grill." As I walk in, I am greeted by a tall, blonde guy.

"Hey, welcome to the Mystic Grill. I'm Matt. You know, you're a little too young to be in a bar," he says, eyeing me skeptically.

I roll my eyes and give him that look. "Do I look like I give a shit about your rules? I'm not here for a drink. I need information. Have you seen a big guy, looks like a gorilla, and a knife-wielding maniac around here?"

Matt raises an eyebrow, clearly confused and slightly amused. "Uh, no. But maybe you should try the coffee shop down the street. Might have better luck there, kid."

"I'm not a kid," I snap. "And thanks for nothing."
With that, I turn on my heel and march out of the bar, my frustration mounting.

I walk a few blocks away, trying to find at least one person who can tell me the year. Then, something stops me in my tracks. In a dark alleyway, I hear rattling and muffles nearby. I blink to get closer, and what I see makes my eyes widen in shock.

A girl is biting someone. At first, I don't think much of it, assuming they're just doing something inappropriate. But then the girl's head moves away from the guy's neck, and he seems limp and dead? The sight that greets me is one I wasn't expecting: blood dripping from the girl's mouth, veins around her eyes, and fangs. No, this couldn't be possible—they don't exist.

The girl lets go of the guy, who falls to the ground, and she doesn't seem to care about him. I want to confront her, so I walk a few steps closer.

"What the hell did you just do?" I yell.

The girl is stunned but then suddenly, in a flash, I'm pinned against the nearby wall. "Ugh other person to compel!" she demands, her voice cold.

But I'm quicker. Using my time blink, I vanish from her grasp and reappear a few feet away. Her eyes widen in shock. She has never seen anything like this before.

"What the hell are you?" she demands, her curiosity piqued despite herself.

"You first," I shoot back, adjusting my tie as if nothing had happened.

The girl, confused, vanishes before my eyes. I scoff and find a newspaper with the year and place I'm in: "Mystic Falls, Virginia, July 23rd, 2013." Just a few years behind—not that bad, I think to myself. Now, let's find my family.
