**Author's POV**

While Five stays with the Salvatores for a few days, he and Irina have been chatting about their pasts. Five shares his experiences of being stuck in the time loop, while Irina recounts how she was turned a century ago. They bond over their stories, with Five talking about his family and Irina revealing snippets of her long life. The two are getting along just fine.

Five knows he has to return to the safe house where his siblings are staying, but he has an idea: to introduce Irina to his family. Irina feels somewhat nervous about meeting them, as she usually keeps to herself, but she reminds herself that she and Five aren't even dating. Despite her nerves, she is excited, and so is Five.

As they get ready to leave the Salvatores' house, Irina and Five both feel a mixture of anticipation and excitement. Five knows how his family might react to him bringing a girl home, but he reassures himself that there's nothing to worry about since they're not dating. Brushing off his nerves, Five heads out with Irina, ready to introduce her to his siblings.

**Five's POV**

I've been staying with the Salvatores for a few days now, and Irina and I have been chatting about our pasts. I tell her about my time stuck in the time loop, and she shares stories from a century ago when she was turned. It's strange, but comforting, to find someone who gets what it's like to be out of time. We talk about our families, and it turns out we've both got some pretty wild stories.

"I can't believe you've been around for over a century," I say, shaking my head.

Irina laughs. "Yeah, it has its ups and downs. So, your siblings have powers too?"

"Oh yeah," I nod. "Klaus can see dead people, Diego throws knives with perfect accuracy, and Viktor... well, he destroyed the whole world causing us to stay in this time."

Irina chuckles. "Wow, and I thought my family had issues."

I realize I need to head back to the safe house soon, but a thought crosses my mind. "Hey, you know what? You should meet my family."

Irina's eyes widen. "Meet your family? I don't know, Five. What if they don't like me?"

I laugh. "Trust me, they're more likely to embarrass themselves than anything else. One time, Klaus convinced Diego he could talk to fish. He spent an entire day at the aquarium."

Irina bursts out laughing. "You're kidding!"

"Not at all. And Allison once used her power to get free ice cream for a week straight until she got caught by our dad. He wasn't too pleased about that."

Irina shakes her head, still laughing. "Alright, you've convinced me. Let's do it."

As we get ready to leave, I can't help but feel a bit nervous. But seeing Irina's excitement makes it worth it. We head out, making our way to the safe house. I just hope my siblings behave themselves, but with my family, you never know.

"Hey, if they start acting weird, just roll with it," I say, glancing at Irina.

She smirks. "Weird is my specialty, Five."

We share a laugh and keep walking. No matter what happens, it's going to be interesting.

**Irina's POV**

As Five and I head to the safe house, I can't help but think about my brothers. We've talked about our pasts, and it's fascinating how our lives overlap in such strange ways. Five has been telling me about his siblings, and honestly, they sound like a chaotic bunch.

"So, tell me more about your family," Five asks, curious.

I smile, "Damon and Stefan are pretty protective but, They've had their fair share of drama—Damon once convinced Stefan that his favorite drink was actually blood-flavored milk. Stefan was not amused."

"It gets better," I continue. "Damon tried to prank Stefan by setting up a fake vampire hunter. Long story short, Stefan ended up locked in the cellar with a bucket of fake blood. It took him hours to get out."

Five shakes his head, still chuckling. "You're right, they do sound like a handful."

"Yeah," I agree with a smile. "So, what else?" Five says.

I take a deep breath, thinking back. "Oh, Back in the day, my brothers met this girl named Katherine. Complicated story, really. She had a thing for both of them, and they were... well, let's just say it didn't end well. They got turned into vampires by her, and that caused a lot of drama."

Five raises an eyebrow. "And what about you? how did you end up turning if you don't mind me asking?"

"Ah, that's a bit of a story too," I say, smiling wistfully. "I met Elijah Mikaelson, one of the first original vampires. He was charming and powerful, and we had a connection. He turned me, and we were together for a century."

"Sounds intense," Five says, looking intrigued.

"It was," I nod. "But eventually, we decided it was time to part ways. We ended it on good terms, though. I guess it was just one of those things that was meant to be a chapter in our lives, not the whole book."

Five gives me an understanding nod. "It sounds like you've had quite the journey."

"Yeah, I guess we both have," I say, smiling. "And now we're off to meet your family. Should be interesting!"

As we approach the safe house, I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. Five's stories about his family have me curious, and I can't wait to see what they're like in person.
