the next day, i went over to ciara's house with the intention of discussing our upcoming work on the album.

i was excited to dive into the details and start planning our collaboration. however, as soon as ciara opened the door and greeted me, it became clear that our plans were about to take a different direction.

ciara answered the door with a wide, friendly smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "hey! i'm so glad you're here. i was thinking we could take a break from all the work and just have a girls' day. what do you think?"

i was momentarily caught off guard. "oh, really? i mean, that sounds fantastic. i didn't realize how much i needed a break. but, don't we have a lot to go over?"

ciara waved her hand dismissively, laughing lightly. "we can catch up on work another day. today is all about relaxation and fun. come on in!"

i stepped into her cozy home, and immediately felt a sense of warmth and comfort. ciara had a knack for creating an inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting, plush furniture, and a hint of lavender in the air.

it felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the previous days.

"so, what's on the agenda for today?" i asked as ciara led me to the living room, where she had set up a few different activities.

"well," ciara began with a mischievous grin, "i was thinking we could start with some baking. i've got all the ingredients for cookies, and we can make a mess of the kitchen while we're at it."

"baking cookies sounds amazing," i agreed, feeling the stress of the past week start to melt away. "let's fucking do it."

we moved to the kitchen, where ciara and i got to work mixing ingredients, laughing over spilled flour, and playfully debating the best way to make the perfect cookie dough. as we worked, the conversation flowed effortlessly.

"so, tell me more about yourself," ciara said as she whisked the batter. "what do you enjoy doing outside of music?"

i thought for a moment before responding. "well, i love reading and writing songs. whenever i can, i try to write songs, just brings me peace, they're never on the album though. what about you?"

"i'm a bit of a movie buff," ciara replied with a grin. "i could spend entire weekends just watching films and critiquing them. and of course, i'm obsessed with cooking and trying new recipes."

"sounds like we have some common interests," i said. "maybe we could do a movie marathon sometime. i'd love to hear your critiques."

"definitely," ciara agreed enthusiastically. "it's a date!"

as the cookies baked, we moved to the living room to start on another activity—binge-watching a popular TV show that we both loved. we settled in with blankets and snacks, and soon found ourselves engrossed in the show, laughing and commenting on the characters and plot twists.

"i can't believe we've never met before," ciara said during a particularly funny scene. "it feels like we've known each other for ages."

"i know exactly what you mean," i replied, smiling. "i felt the same way when we first met. it's like we just clicked instantly."

"it's nice to have found a new friend so quickly," ciara said thoughtfully. "it's not often that you meet someone and feel such an immediate connection."

"agreed," i said. "i'm really grateful for this. it's been such a fucking hectic time, and it's so refreshing to have a day like this."

after our movie marathon, we decided to take a break and enjoy the cookies we had baked. we set up a little picnic on the living room floor, complete with tea and the warm, gooey cookies. as we chatted and relaxed, i remembered that i had something important to share.

"oh, before i forget," i said, "i've been working on a surprise for harry's birthday, which is actually tomorrow."

ciara's eyes lit up with curiosity. "oh, really? tell me everything! what have you planned?"

i took a sip of my tea and started explaining. "well, i've been secretly planning a surprise party for harry. i've been working with his mom to organize everything. we're having the party at his favorite restaurant, and we've got decorations, a cake, and a few of his closest friends coming over."

"that sounds incredible," ciara said, clearly impressed. "harry is going to be so surprised and happy. what else do you need help with?"

"actually, i could use an extra pair of hands for some last-minute preparations," i admitted. "if you're up for it, we could finalize the details together. it would be great to have your help."

"i'd be more than happy to help," ciara said enthusiastically. "let's make sure everything is perfect for harry. what do we need to do?"

"well, we need to finalize the guest list and make sure everything is set with the restaurant," i explained. "i also want to make sure that the decorations and the cake are all set. i've been coordinating with anne to make sure everything is a surprise."

"got it," ciara said, nodding. "let's start by going over the guest list and making sure we have everyone accounted for. then we can check in with the restaurant and make sure everything is on track."

we spent the next few hours going over the details of the party. ciara's help was invaluable, and her enthusiasm made the planning process much more enjoyable. we laughed, joked, and bonded even more as we worked through the checklist.

by the time we finished, it was evening, and the sun was starting to set. "i'm so glad we got everything sorted," i said, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "this party is going to be amazing, and i couldn't have done it without you."

"it was my pleasure," ciara said with a smile. "i had a great time today. not only did we get a lot done, but we also got to know each other better. i'm really looking forward to tomorrow."

"me too," i said, smiling back. "thanks again for everything. i couldn't have asked for a better day or a better friend."

as i left ciara's house that evening, i felt a deep sense of satisfaction and gratitude. not only had we managed to pull together an amazing surprise for harry, but i had also found a wonderful friend in ciara. it was incredible how quickly we had become so close, and i couldn't wait to see what the future held for our collaboration and our friendship.
