The dim light of the dropship was lighting Jasper's face as he grunted in pain. While Cora and Clarke sat besides him wiping his face from the sweat as Cora took his pulse.

"His pulse is steady.."

He grunted again as the people from downstairs said to let him die already as Clarke leaned in to Jasper.

"Don't listen to them. You're gonna make it through this, okay? Promise."

She caressed his face and Cora wiped his forehead.

"Can't he just die already?"

Someone from the downstairs yelled.

"Yeah, they are weak jackasses, you're strong and brave. You're gonna make through it and you're gonna laugh in their faces and tell them that you did it."

Monty smiled slightly at Cora's hopeful words to Jasper while he kept working and Jasper grunted in pain, but had a small smile of hope on his pained face.

"I am gonna get clean water. Keep an eye on him."

Clarke said as she stood up and Cora nodded still wiping his face as he grunted in pain.

Clarke walked out of the dropship as Jasper's grunts of pain were heard from even the outside as suddenly she heard a scream.

"No, no, no!"

She walked over to the scream and saw a little girl having a nightmare and shaking.

"Hey...,wake up."

Clarke said as she slowly touched the girl's arm as the girl gasped awake.

"It's okay..., it's okay."

The girl looked around confused.

"It's just a dream..."

Clarke smiled slightly.

"You're Charlotte, right? I am Clarke."

Charlotte looked down still trembling.

"It's okay to be scared.."

She sits down beside her as Charlotte hugged her knees.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

Charlotte spoke with a trembling and cracking voice.

"It's...my parents..."

Clarke looked at her raising a brow as she out her hand on Charlotte's back and rubbed it while Charlotte looked away.

"They were floated and they...And I see it in my dreams."

She said as tears streamed down her face and shook her head.

"And I just..."

Clarke sighs.

"Yeah, I understand...My dad was floated..."

Charlotte looks at her as they were in a brief moment of silence.

"So how'd you end up here?"

Charlotte sobbed.

"They were taking my parents' things to the redistribution Center and...kind of lost it.."

She looks at Clarke.

"They say I assaulted a guard..."

Clarke smiles sadly at the girl.

"I can't say I blame you."

Charlotte wiped her teary cheeks as Clarke sighed and looked up at the sky.

"You see that bright star up there?"
