The loud bang from the cell's barn being shaken echoed through the room. Muffled pleas for help were being heard from the other cells.

"I am gonna get you out of here." Cora said as her eyes quickly scanned the room trying to find anything she could open the lock with. That's when she spotted a metal crossbow on the floor, she grabbed it and forced the cell's door open.

"Okay, come on." She wrapped Annya's arm around her shoulders, helping her walk. Cora's gaze fell on a sign.

DANGER:HIGH RADIATION LEVEL

Cora's free hand gripped the door handle as she pulled the door open with a small grunt. The wounds still not healed enough to not hurt. They quickly walked inside the room as the door closed behind. The room was a small one with what looked like a trap door beneath them.

"No." Cora said alarmed as she tried to open the now closed door. Her hands slammed against the hard metal doors as a frustrated sigh escaped her before a loud alarm sounded through the room, a red light in the middle of the ceiling flashing.

"What is this?" Annya asked, her eyes widening as the alarm sounded. "Anything this is, I just know it's no good." Cora answered, glancing at Annya.

Before the two women could say something else, the floor beneath their feet opened in half, making them fall down something that looked like a tunnel slide.

A sharp pain echoed through Cora's body, her wounds feeling the impact of the fall. She looked around to see Annya laid down next to her from the fall, both of them groaning in pain before Cora spotted a human arm between Annya and herself.

"Oh my Gosh! Oh my Gosh!" Cora screamed in disbelief and fear mixed with disgust. There were corpses underneath them, Annya's expression fell once she saw her people's corpses, her hands grabbed a boy's face. It was blood all over the truck filled with corpses they were in, Cora's hand gripped the edges and propped herself up on the edge of the truck.

"Annya, take my hand. We have to get out of here." She said, extending her hand. "Now." Cora added as Annya hesitantly looked up at her before nodding and taking Cora's hand. Once they were both out of that truck filled with corpses and blood, Cora and Annya found themselves in underground tunnels made in the mountain, the smell of mud filling their nostrils.

Cora's gaze quickly searched the surroundings "We're out." She said, glancing at Annya, her breaths heavier than usual. "Hey.." Cora said ,getting  Annya's attention. "Get dressed, we can't cover any ground dressed like this." Cora said as she rushed over a pile of clothes, taking some.

"I won't leave my people behind." Annya said staring down at the corpses. "Stop being stupid and do the right thing, Annya, oh my Gosh!" Cora said annoyed, her tone filled with anger and bitterness. Annya furrowed her brows at Cora. "You think you're the only one with people here, huh? My people are inside this mountain too." her voice raised. "Still I can't save them by myself...I don't even know if my brother's still alive and that everything I am doing to escape this place is worth it." Cora said with tears welling up in her eyes as she shook her head. "I am so scared of everything that happ and it's about to happen, I have no idea how I am gonna escape this place, but I will and I'll find my brother and the rest of my people that are still out there. And after I do that I am coming back to get my people out of here." Cora said as her tone got firmer. "I suggest you do the same."

Annya looked at Cora as she glanced at the corpses "So are you coming with me to escape this place and find our people that are still out there or are you gonna stay and mourn your dead instead of fighting to save the rest of them?" Cora asked Annya, holding out some clothes to her. "Fine. I am coming, but don't think I won't hesitate to betray you if I have to." She said grabbing the clothes as Cora raised her brow. "That's only if I don't betray you first."Annya smirked at Cora, something about her intrigued Annya, maybe it was her stamina or her determination to find her brother, prehaps her loyalty for her people...Anything that was, it intrigued Annya, seeing her younger self in the girl.

Before they could've get dressed they heard chatter in the distance.Cora immediately recognized the voices in the distance, it was too familiar for her...The reapers.

"Someone's coming." Annya said, glancing ahead of the tunnel where the voices were coming from.

"Not just someone...Reapers." Cora said as Annya quickly grabbed a rock from the ground. "Oh come on, don't be ridiculous, you can't fight. You're drained." Cora said as Annya glared at her, knowing it was true.

The foot steps and voices were getting closer "They're not many." Annya said as she listened to the footsteps getting closer. "Are you really that stupid to fight reapers? They are over ten there. You don't stand a chance." Cora said, pointing out the obvious.

Annya contemplated her choices before holding out the rock to Cora. "You're right, I can't." Cora's brows furrowed, but before saying anything Annya spoke again. "But you can." Cora shook her head. "No, I can't." She said bluntly. "You want me to escape with you...Prove me that you're worth my time." Annya said putting the rock in Cora's hand. "Technically I saved you so you owe me." Cora said as Annya shook her head. "We can take them down, I know we can." Cora looked down at the rock in her hand, contemplating her next decision before sighing and nodding. Annya smiled as she grabbed another rock and hid behind the truck with corpses. Cora shook her head and hid behind the other cart as the reapers approached.

Annya and Cora exchanged a glare before they both slammed the rocks against the two reapers' head standing next to the carts they hid behind. The other reapers immediately looked at the two women, preparing their swords to attack them. Cora grabbed the sword from the reaper she just killed quickly pointing it ahead as a reaper ran towards her and fell into the blade of the sword. Annya grabbed the axe from the dead reaper, throwing it at the reapers heading towards her and taking two down.

"You skaikru don't kill, huh?" Annya said as she grabbed the sword from a dead reaper and fought against three others with ease, wincing occasionally.

"Pain shapes a woman in many things." Cora said as she used her fists to beat a reaper and her foot to kick another one's jaw.

"Gotta say, I am impressed. Your blood's been drawn and you can fight." she added, kicking the reaper with her knees before grabbing a spear and buried it in his stomach. Annya glanced for a moment at Cora before cutting down the reaper's head. "You're not bad yourself, Skaikru." She said with a small proud smirk as she saw Cora bury two swords in two reapers' chests and with that the way being clear. "Thanks, Trikru." Cora said, with a small smirk at Annya, wiping the blood that spilled over her face away with her hand.
