The smell inside the room was disgusting, it smelt like death...Pure death. Corpses hanged all around, it made Cora feel intoxicated.
She slowly walked through the hanged corpses, making sure to not touch them. The red light enlightened the corpses enough for Cora to see the wounds on them in the darkish room.
There was a corpse that got her attention, a woman that had blonde and messy locks over her dead face. She was covered in blood, the skin from her legs half ripped and her eyes gone. She looked different than a normal corpse. As Cora looked around, slowly she started to notice that all of the corpses legs were having their skin half ripped and no eyes. Something was off, not everyone could've died the same way, could they?Cora standing between the hanged corpses was showing on the bug monitor from the security bay.
"Is the fire ready?"
Cage asked, his arms crossed and a mad expression on his face. The guard picked up a remote with a red button on it as he stepped next to Cage.
"Yes, sir. At your command we burn the corpses."
His jaw clenched slightly as he thought about it for a few seconds. He glanced at two guards that were standing next to the door, a stoic expression on their faces.
"Go to the heater's door, when the girl comes out. Don't hesitate to catch her, am I clear?"
The guards nodded.
"Yes, sir."
They said before walking out of the security bay and rushing towards the heater. Cage looked at the monitor that showed Cora walking and looking around the room, a sword in her trembling hand as blood continued to flow from the back of her head.
"She took down two of my creations...Bleeding, having no weapon. She's clever, if she gets out of this alive..."
Cage's tone got dangerously low as he glanced at the guard holding the remote.
"My dream will be reality."
The guard nodded.
"Blow the room."
Cage said, turning back to look at the monitor as the guard pressed the button.
The room shook as the floor under a few corpses from the other side of the room started to open. Cora raised her brows as she took a few steps towards it. Suddenly a huge fire ignited. Screams filled the room as the corpses burn...The corpses were screaming cause they weren't dead, they were just too wounded to look alive."Oh my God!"
Cora said lowly and loud at the same time, the room kept shaking as the floor kept opening fast and the fire to ignite and burn the people.
She looked around the room quickly to spot an exit as she saw one at the end of the room. Cora wasted no time as she started to run for dear life towards the door, the room shock again as Cora stumbled back, falling in the hole behind her.
The sword's blade quickly buried into the metal, keeping Cora from falling. She hold onto the sword as she let out a few coughs as she covered her mouth with her forearm while the smoke raised into the air. Cora quickly pulled herself back on the floor as the fire ignited highly a few inches behind from her. She rushed towards the door, leaving the sword behind when suddenly the floor shook in front of her, making her stop as the floor right before the door opened and fire ignited."You've got to be kidding me."
She muttered in annoyance before being cutted off by a cough as she quickly glanced around for another exit while the room shook and the floor opened quickly, heading towards her. Cora spotted the fire igniting and extinguishing at an interval of maximum 3 seconds. Her gaze quickly searched the room once again for another way to exit, but there was no other exit
