Teach me how
to be a grounder
21The wind blew over Cora and Annya's faces, making their still wet clothes feel cold on their warm skin. Cora grimaced from time to time, her wound weren't healed enough to not hurt.
"Do you have any idea where the hell we are?" Cora asked as Annya's eyes searched the surroundings.
"We should be at your camp in exactly 4 days if I am right." she said as Cora stopped amd sat on a rock, taking some deep breaths "Great, I was really looking forward to be wandering 4 days through those woods with you." sarcasm dripping from Cora's tone "Another thing to note as done on my dream list." she added as Annya stopped and put her hands on her hips , glaring at Cora "What, are you tired?" she asked trying to mimic Cora's sarcasm to mock her.
Cora glanced at Annya "No, I just have been through hell for the past days, fighting for my life how could I be tired?" she said in an ironic manner, rolling her eyes at Annya, who looked at Cora, studying her body language for a moment before speaking "You know, pitting yourself won't get you to your purpose because if we stay, they'll probably find us so I suggest you get up and walk, skaiwona." Cora glared at Annya "No." she said annoyed as Annya let out a sigh.
"Look, I saw you in mount weather, your desire to live it's what is making you keep fighting. I have no idea how the hell you were capable to take down all of those reapers, but you did and it made you gain my respect." she stepped closer to Cora "But you need those fighting skills to be improved by training." Annya spoke firmly as Cora stood up, her arms crossed "Fine, then while we are going back, teach me how to fight better" she spoke as her eye never left Annya's "Teach me how to survive better." the determination was clear and firm in Cora's voice "Teach me your language Mentality." Annya raised her brows at Cora's determination, she was intrigued.
"Teach me how to be a grounder."
Cora's words shocked Annya at first, making her slightly shake her head in disbelief as she recalled Cora's words...Sure, she knew Cora has potential of a great warrior, but teaching a skaikru to be a trikru, that's a whole different deal, it'll take time and a lot of practice for a grounder, but something about Cora was telling Annya that Cora can learn how to be a grounder in those four days.
"You teach me how to be a grounder and I assure you that sky people won't attack the ground people." Cora said, extending her hand "Do we have a deal?" she asked, with a small smirk. Cora was determined to learn how to fight better, after what she experienced in Mount Weather, all she wants is to know how to watch her back and being more han capable to handle the grounders. Annya took a few moments to think about i before gripping Cora's hand and shaking it "Sha." Annya said as Cora furrowed her brow as she started her to walk too "I'll get that as a yes, I guess." she says as she looks at Annya's expression ,trying to figue if that really was a yes and when she saw Annya smile she smiled back, confirming that it was a yes.

Bellamy and the others were running through the woods, trying to find the grounder village where their friends might be. "Everyone, eyes peeled. We are in grounder territory." Bellamy said as he was ahead of them, Murphy was struggling to keep up as he breathed heavily "Everything is grounder territory." he stopped "I can't keep running." he said, tiredly.Bellamy glared at Murphy "We don't even know the guy that Finn killed is telling the truth." he added as Finn gripped his shoulder and dragged him forward "Keep moving." he said harshly as Bellamy stops Finn "We can give him a minute." Finn scoffed "No, we can't. You heard what the grounder said, they'll outlive the uselessness." he said, concern etched on his face.
