After Rosalie painfully announced that Rainn would be starting school, Alice had already formed a plan—a plan allowing her and her nephew to spend some quality time together. Knowing that Rosalie would most likely go off her head, Alice knew she'd have to play this sneakily. Luckily for her, she knew that Rosalie was going hunting that night.
After Rainn had gone to bed, Alice's plan needed to begin. Attaching herself to Rosalie, she practically begged the blond to go through more photos of Rainn with her. Still apprehensive about leaving Rainn, Rosalie didn't take much convincing, leading to her and Alice in the living room with the photo album between them.
It had been way past the first few hours of the next day that the pair were interrupted, still discussing the photos. Emmet was slightly confused to still see his wife in the home in the same clothes she was wearing earlier. The original plan was that she would go hunting as Rainn was put to bed, then Emmet would switch off with her just before Rainn usually woke up and was to come back around mid-day. However, his wife, as he now knew, hadn't left.
"Are you not going hunting?"
"What time is it?"
"almost six", Emmet informed her, placing his hands on her shoulders, Alice faining innocence throughout as she pretended to look at another photo of Rainn on a bicycle.
"I'll go tomorrow," Rosalie said firmly as she looked back at the book. I'll be fine. There are some bags in the fridge."
"No, come on, we can go together," he responded, his patience straining slightly. He hadn't been able to hunt with his wife for quite a while now.
Rosalie retorted, "Rainn will be up in a few hours," knowing that Rainn was usually up for eight hours.
"he'll be fine, and If we leave now, we could get back for ten. That's not too bad."
Before Rosalie could even speak, Alice knew she had to speak up.
"Yeah, we can get Rainn. His breakfast can't be too difficult, not to mention Esme usually cooks for him here.""That's sorted then", Emmet grinned, happy to be having one on one time outside the home with his wife. Rosalie seeing his face, didn't want to turn him down now; sighing, she stood to get changed, Emmet following behind. Alice's plan was going accordingly.
.
Watching Emmet and Rosalie running into the woods, Alice's grin filled her face.
"I don't think kidnapping Rainn whilst Rosalie is already agitated about him starting school is the best idea." Edwards's voice called out from the other side of the room, already knowing what Alice was planning on doing."Technically, she kidnapped him first for years, which you allowed, and I'm only going to borrow him for a few hours", Alice explained, bringing the past back into play.
"And when she finds out you and coincidentally Rainn is missing, you don't expect her to freak out."
"I can handle Rosalie. Rainn needs school supplies anyway. She knows that. Not to mention that he has about five good outfits and has already worn most of them. And you know, as I know, Esme has planned for them to start school tomorrow; that leaves us a rather small gap to prepare him."
"And you're willing to be on the wrong side of Rose?" Edward asked sceptically, knowing how unsettling Rosalie could become.
"I'll leave her a note," Alice said, Edward now aware that Alice was not interested in following through with her plan.
"I am not getting involved," Edward said, wanting nothing to do with his siblings' schemes.
"You weren't involved in the first place." Alice reassured, smiling at her brother. "they should be busy for a few hours, and Rainn and I are going to have fun whilst getting him prepared for tomorrow."
