"It feels like his family just vanished," Samarth said, his eyes fixed on the MacBook as he scrolled through the sparse records we had managed to find. We were trying to uncover any information about Jaswant Sindhiya's family, but it was as if they had never existed.

"Nothing seems to work," I muttered, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "We need to find something before he gets here. This is our only leverage. I've spent countless sleepless nights digging through every possible source, but there's not a single clue."

I had no choice I had to find it either by hook or crook so I can use his family against him. Well everybody has their weekness. I just need to manipulate it right I know this is wrong but I care less I want him dead and trust me it will not a easy death. He is the reason of my countless trumas the number of sleepless night I have spent to find him. And him probably enjoying his life I will make him and his family regret.

"There's no record of his parents, wife, or children. Nothing." Samarth closed the MacBook with a sigh, massaging his temples. "My head hurts."

Guilt gnawed at me for dragging him into this mess. He had a wedding to look forward to, and yet here he was, searching for a murderer's family. I clenched my jaw, irritated by how much Jaswant Sindhiya occupied my thoughts. It felt like I was slipping back into the person I used to be-obsessive and driven to the edge.

"You should step back from this," I suggested, trying to sound casual as I took a seat. "Focus on your wedding. You have a life outside of this chaos."

"It's fine," Samarth replied, though his voice was weary and tinged with disappointment. "Rithika is handling everything on her own, and you know how she is-she likes to be in control. I try not to interfere."

"Is everything okay between you two?" I asked, trying not to sound too concerned. He had seemed off lately, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to it than just exhaustion from wedding preparations.

"It's nothing-" Just as he began to answer, a knock on the door interrupted him. We both turned to see who it was.

The door opened, revealing Avni. She walked in with a warm smile, looking as stunning as ever, her presence always seemed to brighten the room. My heart skipped a beat, as it always did when she was around.

"Hey, Avni Bhabhi!" Samarth called out, standing up to her and side hugged her. Only if he was not my bestfriend and Aana sees him as brother unless I would've unalived him for his act.

"Samarth bhaiya, how many times do I have to tell you to call me Avni? Treat me like your younger sister," she said, playfully scolding him. She leaned in to whisper something in his ear, and they both laughed, sharing a private joke.
