"What did you just say?" I gritted my teeth, my eyes narrowing at the man sitting in front of me, his words ringing in my ears like a bad joke.

Samarth, Yuvan, and Ayushman sat beside him, their expressions ranging from shock to utter disbelief.

"You agreed to this?!" Ishaan asked, leaning forward, his brows furrowed. "You can't just back out now."

"I never agreed to anything!" I snapped, shooting him a glare.

Ishaan leaned back, his expression calm but his words sharp. "I told you that day—I don’t do favors for free. You needed my help, and I told you I’d ask for something in return."

My fists clenched at my sides. Samarth, Yuvan, and Ayushman exchanged glances, staying silent, which only fueled my frustration.

"Yeah, well, not happening," I said firmly, crossing my arms. "You can ask for anything else, but this? Not a chance."

Ishaan scoffed. "Are you out of your mind? That’s the only thing I want!"

I shot up from my chair, slamming my hands on the table. "That’s my sister you’re talking about!" I snarled.

"And she’s my girlfriend," he countered smoothly, his gaze unwavering.

His words hit me like a punch to the gut. "How dare you trap my sister?"

He didn't even flinch. "I did not trap her. I love her. And she loves me."

The room fell silent, tension thick in the air.

Samarth finally spoke, his tone cautious. "Let’s all calm down. Maybe we should hear them out?"

I shot him a glare. Yuvan and Ayushman looked away, feigning interest in the ceiling.

Pinching the bridge of my nose, I took a deep breath. "She’s young. She must be fooled by you."

Ishaan's jaw clenched. "She’s the same age as your wife, Avivansh," he retorted. "And you married her."

I opened my mouth to argue, but—damn it—he had a point. My eyes darted to Samarth for backup, but he just shook his head, clearly annoyed.

"Avivansh, you're being ridiculous," Samarth said. "They’re both adults, capable of making their own decisions. Why are you acting like a villain in a Bollywood movie?"

"That's exactly what I've been saying!" Ishaan added.

I shot him a sharp glare. "Tu chup kar!"

Samarth sighed, rubbing his temple. "You, shut up. You broke the bro code."

Ishaan looked offended. "I didn’t break the bro code! He’s not even my friend after this."

"Exactly," I muttered. "There’s no bro code to break when I’m officially cutting you off."
