Back at Merlin Academy, a hushed darkness had fallen over campus. It was late-later than Red, Chloe, and Skyler had any business being out walking through the woods.
Skyler pushed past bare branches of dying trees and emerged on the bank of the swampy lagoon, leaving Chloe and Red to catch up behind her. "Here we are." She said, putting her hands on her hips.
They surveyed the area. There were no VKs present. There was nothing but an occasional bubble rising to the surface of the water and popping with a sickly squelch.
"Why is the place so deserted?" Chloe asked.
Suddenly, voices approached from the nearby woods.
"I thought you were a beautiful flamingo, Uli," Hook joked.
"It's the VKs," Red whispered.
"Hide. Go, go!" Skyler quickly ushered them in front of herself. Skyler, Red, and Chloe ducked to hide just in time as the VKs tore through the trees.
Uliana was fuming, with her VK crew trailing behind her. "I'm fierce, I'm feared, you know I'm the baddest here. Pull up on my crew, boohoo!"
The VK's and moved closer to Uliana and made a gesture as if they were crying before starting to dance together. "You'll be wiping up more than a puddle of tears. My competition, call her Urs' but her curses ain't the worst."
"I got potions, evil spells to turn your life from bad to worse." Uliana stopped in front of the water and turned to her comrades while explaining to them, when they all roared.
"Then there's that desperate girl, comin' for me, tryna mess with my world." Uliana started walking again while Hook helped Maleficent through the swamp. Meanwhile, Morgie was rolling and tumbling around on the ground.
"Well, villainous is how I live, she'll regret messing with the wrong sea witch, 'cause I got a lifetime of vengeance, I'm savage to the bone. And anyone who crosses me gon' wish they were never born."
