What could a god with no authority over you force you into.
The answer is nothing.
You were sitting on a low cushion with your legs crossed to the side and your chin resting over the palm of your hand as you let out a sigh just a bit too loud for the war's god to keep quiet.
He had a throne of a sort, an elevated seat just for him to stare down upon his worshipers while you watched from the side not too entertained.
"We've brought a small offering for you Seth." The priest said while bowing low, offering him a clothing and a mask similar to his own.
"You clearly have a request for me." He said not easily fooled without paying attention at their "gift."
The man sighed before looking up at the god.
"Recently crocodiles have been taking over the roads we used to trade." He admitted. "So we're having difficulties travelling."
"So what ?" He cared not.
"Since you have forbidden us from trading slaves shouldn't we return to our former trades ?"
"So what you're actually trying to say is that this is my responsibility too right ?"
"NO not at all." His head touched the ground in his curtsy. "The area is important to us, however the royal family has met our request with silence so we are begging you to help us."
"Is that so ?" Seth didn't sound convinced and if there was something he was being lied about will he was already seeing through it.
You cleared your throat receiving some glances as you stood fixing your attire as an act.
"I'm sure your dear god here would do a perfect job of aiding you with this burden." You faked as the priest gave you a curious look.
He didn't remember you being there, but it neither didn't take him long to understand who you were and a glint of mischief went through his gaze as he faked his distress again.
"Please Seth."
"Please Seth." You mimicked as he shot you a glare.
"Leave now." He said as the man grew livid. "I will deal with this issue when I see fit."
The man bowed again, thanking him again over again while making his way out of the tent and you sat on the stair that led up to Seth's seat, now sitting near his left.
For a moment he didn't say anything as he stood up his temper running short while moving to change his attire onto what he was offered.
He didn't care if you were near, but even if you could peek you didn't and focused at the way the mortal had use to leave instead.
"Why are you here ?" He asked you bluntly.
He meant there instead of your temple surrounded by your servants and other gods.
You prolonged a hum as he clicked his tongue.
"Fate I assume." You lied and he folded his arms over his chest when moving to stand in front of you.
"Fate is crap."
"It had brought us to meet at many unexpected occasions." You tempted and he closed his eyes briefly in annoyance.
The reason of why you no longer got along with the war's god was a mystery.
Maybe you did cause some troubles for him along his reign but never was it ill-intended.
Except once maybe, but when destroying the region at the west he wasn't exactly what you were thinking of harming.
"You're a fool." He started. "But not that much of a fool."
You pursed your lips as you watched him think for a moment holding himself haughtily.
"You had no reason to come all the way here. Not even if you were forced, and even if you were the other fool would come to your rescue." He spoke of Asenath as you held in a laugh.
"Except if..." he stopped his smirk suddenly growing big and eager. "You don't have access to your powers."
And suddenly you no longer felt like laughing.
"Awwww." Seth faked while leaning with his arms crossed closer to you. "Can't lie anymore huh ?"
You had to prevent rolling your eyes when the tip of his index finger raised your chin up to meet his gaze. Your nose only an inch away from his.
"Maybe not that much." He said while tilting your head to look at your profile.
You grasped his wrist as his smile never faltered, it simply turned into something sharper when he looked at your hand around his own.
You could not use whispers to command him to now and neither did you have the physical strength you had before being restricted.
What made you the most angered about all of this was that he deserved it while you were put into this situation just to entertain the gods with no further explanation.
"I could still kill you." You said and he shrugged with his smile widening.
"Kill you would be too pointless." He said before finally pulling back. "I prefer much seeing you struggle."
