Christmas has passed and we are already on the last day of the year. This year was coming to an end. Maybe this has been my best year yet. I graduated, I made friends with the kids and most importantly I fell in love with a fabulous man. I think it couldn't have gone better than this. Today the boys are playing at the pub. Since I was already late, I start getting ready. M I put on a white shirt, a pair of jeans and a blue jacket and sneakers and put on a little makeup. "Are you ready honey?" Layne asks me "Yes, I'm coming" and I go in the living room where he was. When I see him I smile. He was gorgeous, this man may wear old clothes but he will always look handsome "You're gorgeous" he says "You are very beautiful too" I say and we start going towards the pub. As soon as we enter we see the guys sitting on the counter and we approach them "Hello, how are you?" I say "Hi Lily, hi Layne how are you? What it's like to live together? Sean asks "Pretty well, maybe it was a little difficult at the beginning, but now everything is perfect" I say "Come on guys, we have to go rehearse, see you later Lily" Mike says and they go backstage. After a while the pub started to fill up. After a while the lights go out. It makes me think of the first time I came here.Who would have thought that I would fall in love with the singer of my brother's band? But it happened and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. After a while, here they are coming on stage. "Hello everyone, thank you for being here. To celebrate the arrival of the new year we will sing together. Are you ready?" Layne says and the crowd shouts yes and they start playing. And I start singing with them. Like the first one that never ceases to excite me. Then Layne's voice always gives me goosebumps even though I've listened to it many times, his voice always has this effect on me Time had flown by with very little left until the new year. "So boys and girls, it's almost time to go.Let's do the countdown together. Layne says and we start counting "5,4,3,2,1 Happy New Year everyone" Layne says and with the others they come down from the stage to join me "Happy New Year, Lily" the guys say and I hug him. "Happy New Year to you too" I say "Happy New Year My Love" Layne says kissing me "Happy New Year to you too darling" I say and we hug "Come on guys! Let's drink something" Mike says and order some beers. I put my head on Layne's shoulder. I hope this year is as good as last year "Here are your beers" the waiter says "Come on guys, let's toast to this new year in the hope that it will bring us some joy" Jerry says "Here's to the new year!" We say and start drinking. Let's hope that this year will bring us joy.
