I open my eyes and look at the clock, it's 9.30. Today we have to return to Seattle. I start to get up but Layne grabs my wrist and throws me back into bed"where did you think you were going" Layne says with his morning voice."I was getting up" I say "You're not going anywhere" He says and holds me close to him."I like being in your arms too, but we have to go back to Seattle" I say. "5 more minutes" he says and I accept. After five minutes I try to get up but Layne takes my wrist again and puts me back on "Come on Layne, let me up" I say "No" he says and then we hear a knock on the door."Layne, Lily wake up we have to go" Jerry says "Come on, let's get up" I say "Next time I'll kill him" Layne says and I laught. We go in the kitchen where the others were already there. "Good morning lovebirds, How did you sleep?" Sean asks "Pretty good, thanks" I say and I pour for myself a cup of coffee. "Layne, do you want some coffee?" I say "Yes, thanks" he says and I give him the cup. I turn to the boys and they look shocked. "What happened?" "Am I seeing correctly? Do you have a ring on your finger?"Jerry says and I nod "Yes, you're looking good Jerry" I say smiling "No way. Layne you finally proposed" Mike says "Yeah, after what happened I wanted to do it right away" Layne says. "But it's great! My friends are getting married!" Sean says and we hug "Poor you Layne for having Jerry as a brother-in-law" Sean says and we laugh. "What would you say? I'm the best brother in law that Layne can have" Jerry says and we laught again. "I know it's still early, but when do you plan to get married?" Mike asks
"We don't know yet, we will decide in the future" Layne says and looks at me."As soon as we get back to Seattle let's go celebrate!" Mike says and the others nod. "Instead, let's start preparing because we have to leave soon" I say and we start packing our suitcases. After we checked if we had taken everything, we start heading towards the airport.After an hour we get on the plane to finally return to our home. After about 4 and a half hours on the plane we are finally in Seattle. "we're going home, I'll see you tonight then" I say "okay, I'll see you around 7pm at the usual pub. See you later" Jerry says and Layne and I go in our apartment. "Home sweet home" I say and I start unpacking the suitcases. "I'm going to take a shower. Do you want to keep me company?" Layne asks me "Yes, in the meantime come in and then I'll join you" I say. After putting some clothes to wash, I decide to join Layne."finally you're here" he says and kisses me "sorry it took me a while" I say and we start washing. After taking a shower we go there we get ready to go out. I wore a pair of jeans with a sweatshirt to be comfortable. Layne also wears jeans and a sweatshirt. As soon as we finish getting ready we head towards the pub. As soon as we arrived we already saw Jerry, Mike and Sean sitting on a table and joined them"you finally did it" Sean says and we laugh. "Come on, let's celebrate the future spouses!" Jerry says and we get some beers that the guys already had "To the future spouses" Jerry says "to the future spouses" we say and start drinking. "Then I want to bring you the wedding rings" Sean says and we laugh "Then me and Jerry will be the witnesses" Mike says. "We still don't know when we're getting married and you're already thinking about being the witnesses and Sean carrying the wedding rings. You are not normal" Layne says "We are saying that because that is our role. If you choose other people I won't come" Mike says and "don't worry, no one will take your place" I say "who knows if you'll even have a baby" Sean says and Layne chokes on his beer "Sean, you're rushing things too much!" Layne says "Come on Layne I can see you being a dad" Sean says and we laugh. "Maybe in the future we'll think about that too" I say and I look at Layne and he smiles "of course, I'd like to have a baby with the woman who I love the most" Layne says and I give him a kiss "Aww Layne, I also want my baby to have a special father like you" I say and we kiss another "Awww, that's cute and I'm still single" Sean says and we laugh. "come on Sean let's go and try with those three beautiful girls. There's one for all three" Mike says and we laugh "you're being lovebirds and we'll try to pick up those 3 girls" Sean says and start to approach the girls "However what I said is true, I would like to have a child with you" Layne says "I know, I want it too" I say. "First let's think about getting married and then maybe about the child" Layne says and I nod "you're right" I say and I put my head on his shoulder. I had found the man of my life.
