 1990 had already started off like a bomb. The guys were working on their first album called "Facelift".I'm very happy for them and I'm sure that when it comes out it will be a huge hit As for me, starting next week I would start working in a high school as an English teacher. I'm very happy, my dream is to make students passionate about English literature but in a fun way so they don't hate it. Since I'm out and about, I want to surprise Layne. I want to visit him in the studio where they're rehearsing. When I arrive a man stops me"Where do you think you're going?" the man tells me "I'm a friend of the band and sister of guitarist Jerry Cantrell. If you don't believe me, let him come" I say without seeming harsh. I see the man enter a room and immediately Jerry comes out "Sorry to interrupt, but there's a girl who says she's his sister" I hear the man says. When Jerry sees me he smiles "Lily, what a nice surprise" he says hugging me "I thought about coming to visit you, but if I'm bothering you I'll leave" I say but Jerry takes my hand and takes me with him to the room where he was before. "Guys look who came to visit us" Jerry says and I enter in the room "Lily!" Layne exclaims and comes to hug me "how nice that you are here. Sit down" he says and I sit in an empty chair. "How's the rehearsal going?" I ask

"Let's say they are doing well. We're rehearsing Man in the Box, would you like to hear it? Layne asks me "Sure" I say and they start playing.

Layne's high notes don't miss a beat. I already liked it a lot, even the backing track is wonderful. Then Layne and Jerry's vocals together are amazing together. I know it's already the second time  I've said it, but every time I listen to them I can't stop liking them.

Here Layne gives me goosebumps with his voice. This man has a powerful voice. When they finish I start clapping hard "Damn guys, this song rocks!" I say ""Thank you Lily" The boys say in unison."You know we want to promote this and we die young as singles. Then these days we have to film for the videos" Layne says "Any videos? Wow, I would love to see you" I say "Of course you'll come and see us, you're always welcome Lily" Layne and gives me a kiss on the cheek. "If I may ask, what idea do you have in filming the song?" I ask and they start laughing
"We had thought about doing it in a stable" Jerry says laughing "In a farm? But what did you drink? I ask "The great thing is that we will be in a stable with animals" Sean says "You are not normal. Layne as soon as you finish you can shower outside, at home I won't make you shower" I say and the guys start laughing
"Then we'll go and take a shower at the lake" Layne says and I start slapping him. "in the lake, are you out of your mind?" I say "Sorry Lily, I was joking" he says and we laught. "But Lily, what did you do today" Sean asks me "Nothing special. The only good thing is that I received a call from a school. Next week I will start working as a teacher in a high school" I say "God, this is magnificent " Lays says and hugs me "We are happy for you Lily. Blessed are the guys to have such a beautiful and talented teacher" Sean says and Layne gives him a death stare "Layne don't look at me so the boys are sure to like it. If I were a student too, I couldn't wait for the English lessons to arrive" Sean says but leaves the room as soon as Layne stands up. "Oh yes, can't you wait for your English lessons? Come here and I'll give them to you straight away" Layne says and starts chasing Sean. "Of course Sean is such a dick!" Mike says and we laugh. "Well, he's not entirely wrong though" Mike says But he jumps as soon as he sees Layne come back. "Do you think so too? Come here, there's something for you too" Layne says and Mike gets behind me. "Lily, protect me from this angry monkey" Mike says and I laugh "Mike, come here right now." Layne says "Mike of course you are such a bastard! You got behind it on purpose!" Jerry says and with Sean they take him and hold him tight. "You two are bastards." Mike says and we laugh "Do you want an English lesson now?" Layne asks "Only if it's made by Lily" Mike says and Layne starts to tickle him "Layne please stop! I don't want to have English lessons anymore, not even with Lily! Mike says "That's better" Layne says and hugs me. Maybe children can control themselves more than their own "Come on, it's getting late, let's go home" Layne says and the others nod "See you guys. Good luck Lily for the next week" Mike says and I hug him "Thanks Mike" "You know, but I also want to study English. Could you give me a lesson with just the two of us?" Sean says and winks at me and I laught "SEAN, I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU THIS TIME" Layne says and we laugh. "Bye guys" I say and I hug them. "Bye Lily" the guys say and I start exit with Layne "You know I'm the only one you can give private English lessons to" Layne says whispering in my ear. It was already making my legs weak. "Of course love, only for you" I say and I kiss him. I love when Layne is jealous, it makes me love him even more.
