Giyuu was both happy and devastated to learn that he was pregnant. On one hand he would be able to have a child with Sanemi, on the other it made him remember he wasn't actually a boy.
He knew he and Sanemi should have used protection but they were caught up in the moment and forgot.
Sanemi was quite happy to learn about the life growing inside Giyuu, and hugged him tightly. That night Sanemi showered Giyuu with as much love and affection as he could.
When Giyuu shared his troubles, Sanemi was quick to reassure him, telling him that he would always be a boy in Sanemi's eyes.
A few months into the pregnancy, Giyuu and Sanemi were worried about a miscarriage if Giyuu kept going on missions, so they talked to the Master and got him on leave.
They didn't explain why he was on leave to the other Hashira(except Shinobu) because first, they didn't know Giyuu as trans, and second, it wasn't anyone's business.
Giyuu honestly had a great time at home, he had a Kakushi, and Sanemi would check on Giyuu everyday, and try to go every night to sleep with Giyuu.
Hormones were making Giyuu have horrendous mood swings, mainly making him very clingy to Sanemi.
On this one particular day when Giyuu was around... 6 months pregnant maybe, Sanemi had an important mission and had to be gone for a few days.
The day Sanemi got back, he immediately went to Giyuu's place, kicking his shoes off and going to their room.
Apparently his footsteps were too loud because the moment he opened the door he saw Giyuu groan and turn to face him, blinking awake.
Sanemi sighed, knowing that it was like 2 in the morning. He wants to get Giyuu back to sleep as soon as possible, thinking it would be bad for him to be awake this early.
