Chapter 20

Y/N's Pov :

It's been 3 months since Jaehyun and Mingyu left.
Jaehyun has been in touch with me and apparently, Mingyu's staying with him.
He hasn't contacted me even once in this whole time.
It was his birthday some time ago. I wanted to wish him, I even typed a text but couldn't press the send.
The last chat that we had was a 'Please talk to me' from him and it made me feel like a horrible person.

"I'm never watching this movie again", I said as we got out of the theatre.
"Couldn't agree more", Jungkook nodded his head.
We two went to the theatre to watch a random movie that had tickets available when we arrived there.
Since it wasn't pre-planned, we decided to watch whichever movie had vacant seats and it turned out to be a very boring and embarrassing one.
But thankfully, I had Jungkook to keep me entertained throughout this 2.5 hours.
We then went to eat beef and sujebi.
Jk seemed so professional (and hot) while grilling the meat. His sleeves were rolled upto his elbow revealing his tattooed arm. The prominent veins and muscles on his arms flexed as he moved them.
"Have this one", Jungkook blew on a piece of meat to cool it down and fed it to me.
I hummed in satisfaction while chewing it.

Jungkook took out his phone and I thought he was scrolling or something until I realised he was clicking my photos.
He put it back into his pocket when I asked him to show them to me.
It reminded me of Mingyu. Taking my pictures like that is something he used to do.
I brushed that thought away and took a sip of my soju.

Jungkook drove me back to my home.
He got out of the driver's seat and opened the door for me.
"Thank you for today", I said.
Jungkook : "Pleasure is mine"
I don't know for how long we stood there staring at each other but then his eyes drifted to my lips and the next thing I know is that we were kissing.
Our lips melded together in a primal need. He pushed his tongue inside my mouth.
His wet cavern caressed mine.
His hands that were holding me by my waist guided my body backward until I was pressed against his car's door.
I held onto his shoulder with one hand while the other grabbed his hair.
I felt hot everywhere and was almost out of breath and then something clicked in me.
I tried to pull away from the kiss and he stopped immediately.
"I'm sorry", I let out in between heavy breaths.
"I'm sorry too", he said caressing my cheek with the pad of his thumb.
He took two steps back, "Good night, Y/N".
"Good night", and with that I rushed inside my house.

"Hey, y-", I ran to my room before my mom could say more.
I locked my door and leaned on it for support.
What did I just do?
But it wasn't anything wrong, was it?
I've a crush on him, he's handsome and smart and a good guy. We kissed so maybe he has a thing for me too and it should make me happy but then why am I feeling so guilty?
I guess I know why. It's because I feel like I'm doing something wrong to Mingyu. But he hasn't been loyal to me. He has been with Lisa and we haven't tried contacting each other in the last few months so maybe he has moved on from our arrangement and that means that every part of that deal is gone.
I can be with anyone I want.
But then why my heart is still at unease?
What have you done to me, Kim Mingyu?

Author's Pov :

He gently sucked onto the skin of my neck before sinking his teeth into it making my body jolt.
The sting shot a lascivious stimulation through me.
His right hand moulded my breast as the other held my hip to keep me poised - the grip was hard enough to leave imprints.
The chain that Jungkook wears around his neck, dangled over me with each of his movements.
He thrusted in and out of me; every purposeful snap of his hip leaving me breathless and a libidinous delectation coursed the both of us.
"Jungkook...", he kept fucking me relentlessly, the toe curling sensation had me arching my back.
The knot in my belly tied and untied vigorously as my walls fluttered and clenched around his length making him groan.
A specific hard thrust had me spiralling into abyss and then...............................my alarm went off.
I sat down on my bed trying to even out my heartbeat. I could feel a sweat trickle down the middle of my back.
Oh god!

I took a cold shower and headed out for university.
My classes began in April and everything has been going well as of now.
I have to work at the cafe today. Heeseung had to leave the job as he got into an university in a different city. We're in touch but I miss him a lot.
A new guy has joined in his place - his name's Hyunjin.
He's a good looking guy and he seems good natured too.
As I stepped out of the coffee shop after my shift, Jungkook was standing a few steps away talking to Yunjin.
She took her leave from him and waved me bye. He put his hands inside his pockets and approached me with a smile.
I smiled back at him.

He was the Jungkook that I knew. I mean, he was behaving how he always did. There was no awkwardness from his side but I wish I could say the same for myself.
He must have sensed it cause he assured me that everything's okay between us. We had a moment and he doesn't want us to forget it but he doesn't want it to become a wall between us either.
"We're still how we were before. I can't afford to lose you over that. Don't stress this little head of yours", he said tapping the side of my head.
My shoulders relaxed at his words and then I remembered the dream.
'It was just a dream,Y/N. You had no control over it. Nothing to freak out about', I comforted myself.

Months passed by and things have been very consistent these days.
August was here and so was Mingyu. He's back from the US and Jungkook, Jeonghan and Jisoo went to get him from the airport.

It's been a week since his return but I haven't seen him yet.
The bell at the door of the cafe chimed announcing the arrival of a new customer.
"How are you? Haven't seen you in so long?", Karina said and as I took a glance, it was Mingyu.
Mingyu : "I was out of country for some months. How's everything though?"
After their conversation, he approached the counter.
He has been in the US for like 5/6 months but he stopped coming to the cafe way before that.
Y/N : "What can I get you?"
"Won't you even say hi?", he asked.
"Hi", I said almost like a robot.
Mingyu gave me a bitter smile.
Mingyu : "One iced americano"

"Hello, beautiful"
"Hello, Mr. Valentine", I said on call, the phone was on speaker mode.
"What are you doing?"
Y/N : "Folding clothes"
"Can you open the window of your room?"
"But why?", I asked skeptically.
"Just do it, please"
Y/N : "Opened it"
"Now look down"
"Oh my god, Jae", I hurried out of my room and went outside.
He's standing in front of my house wearing blue jeans and a plain white shirt, he opened his arms for me as I ran towards him.
Y/N : "When did you come back?"
Jaehyun : "2 hours ago"
"What!", I pulled back from our hug.
"What?", he smiled.
Y/N : "Let's go inside"
"No, it's pretty late. I just wanted to see you"
Y/N : "Really?"
Jaehyun : "Really"
"You sure you don't wanna come in?", I asked.
Jaehyun : "Yes, Y/N-ah"
Y/N : "Okay...I'm happy that you're back, Jaehyun-ssi"

I walked back to the door and looked back over my shoulder before heading in.
Jaehyun : "Good night"
"Good night", and with that I went inside.
Just how fast the night changes!
Some months back during Yoonji's wedding, I didn't even know who he was but this time when he's back again, I ran into his arms with a big smile painted on my lips.

"This was planned a long time ago, Y/N"
"2/3 days wouldn't have been a problem but for a week? My mom wouldn't approve, oppa. And I can't ask Jessi unnie for such a long leave", the phone's trapped between my ear and my shoulder as my hands were busy in whipping the batter.
Wonwoo : "I'll talk to auntie and Jessi noona, you just pack your bag"..."Stop biting your lips, you're coming to Jeju with us"
I was actually biting my lips and I took a quick scan around me with startled eyes.
Wonwoo : "No, I'm not around"
Y/N : "What the hell!"
"Relax, Y/N. I just know you well", Wonwoo laughed.
"Yeah, Mr. Knows It All", I rolled my eyes.
Wonwoo : "And you just rolled your eyes"
Y/N : "Stop"
Wonwoo : "Okay okay, now pack your stuffs. We'll be leaving the day after tomorrow's morning. We'll pick you up"
Y/N : "Are Jeonghan and Jisoo going?"
Wonwoo : "They are"

Updating chapters without enough responses and votes on the posted ones feels a little uncomfortable for me since it seems like the book isn't wanted. I'm just confused about whether to post the next chapters or just give it a rushed conclusion and end the book. Since there are some of you who enjoy reading it, I thought of sharing my concerns with you.
