[ Amara’s ]

I woke up early in the morning while hugging Machiko; we were both naked under the blankets.

"Wake up," I whispered cutely, and she smiled. She gave me a peck before opening her eyes.

"Day 1 rehearsal for the concert." She sighed. "I need to go early, baby."

"Yeah, you should! Just drop me at Sadie's, okay?" She nodded when I said that. And she did drop me off at Sadie’s condominium before going to her own destination.

Sadie helped me look for a modelling project for myself. She was really good at it, and pinag-aagawan pa nga ako ng iba't-ibang management.

"Miss Arceta!" Some paparazzis shouted my name when I got outside from the building and finished my signing of contracts for a huge project. I wasn't covering my face or anything, and Sadie just got out to buy coffee.

"Oh, hey," I smiled while some cameras were pointed at me. They took pictures of me before they asked me some questions they were curious about.

"How are you? Why did you transfer here for a modelling project when there's a lot of opportunities waiting for you in the States?"

"Oh, I'm really good. And I chose to try something new." Me and Machiko’s hot sessions suddenly popped up in my mind, and I smiled a little. "I want to try here in the Philippines, where my birthplace is, and I'm so thrilled to endorse products from here."

"That's so amazing, Miss Arceta!" They exclaimed.

"If it's okay to ask what's going on between you and Machiko Lim of JMC, pictures of you with her are going everywhere and very hotly trending in the media."

"Oh, me and Miss Lim..." I paused, thinking what to say. "We are good friends. We've been exploring things a lot together outside our work, and it's just us getting to know each other."

They all nodded when I said that. I knew some of them didn't believe it. I'm not good when it comes to lying. 

The day passed, and me, Sadie, Skylar, and Galilea suddenly had dinner together. It was so sudden that we didn't have an exact plan for it.

"Nakakapagod, jusko!" Skylar was complaining about having dancing trouble. We were in a Samgyumpsal restaurant.

"Kalma lang, bebe. Maaayos din 'yan, at tsaka nagsisimula pa kayo," Galilea calmly answered while cooking some meat with me.

"Kasi naman." She was about to wild up more, but Sadie stopped her.

"Ito na naman siya!" she laughed. "Oh, Amara, balita sa buhay natin d'yan?" They all looked at me, which made me look at them awkwardly.

"I'm okay."

"Ayon lang? Boring naman!" Skylar said, and they just chuckled.

"Saya ng buhay nyan, eh. Sila na nga ni Machiko." Pabulong na pagsalita ni Sadie.

"Huh? No!"

"Eh, eh, ano?" Skylar and Sadie were teasing me. Galilea, on the side, was just smiling.

"We are taking it slowly. We are taking the risk. We are dating, I guess?" I said in a low tone.

"Ah, dating pa?" Skylar jokingly asked me.

"Yeah, I guess. And it's risky; it's so risky. I want to just hide us." That's why I denied the dating thingy with her in the media.

"Nganaman, valid. Sobrang sikat ni Machiko tapos hindi pwede sa management nila ang pag-ibig. Anti-love sila!" Sadie dramatically said.

"Napaka oa mo naman," Skylar said, rolling her eyes.
