[ Amara’s ]

"What are your thoughts about being in a relationship with me, Machiko?" I asked while smiling genuinely, and our eyes locked eye contact. 

"What?" Her facial expression was unexplainable.

"I want us to be official." I caressed her cheek softly using my thumb.

"Well..." She looked so speechless, but she was quickly teary-eyed. I knew she was too happy to just explain it in words.

"I've always been waiting for you, Amara. Why would I think about saying no to being in a relationship with you?"

And we kissed.

It was full of love.

It was more gentle.

"I love you," I finally said after the long months we've been low-key dating.

"I love you more." Her facial expression was the happiest I've ever seen.

The next day, I woke up, and Machiko had already cooked breakfast. It was already arranged on a small table in her bedroom.

"Good morning, girlfriend," she chuckled.

"Wow, you woke up early for this?" That made me smile; she just cooked normal breakfast meals like eggs and spam.

"Yes, I need to be girlfriend material." She sat down beside me and kissed my forehead. "Eat na."

We did eat together, and it felt so different this time knowing that we were already in a relationship.

"We suddenly have a meet-and-greet somewhere in the mall; I have to be there after this to get ready more early, baby," she said.

"Okay, make sure no one flirts with you like I do," I joked, which made her laugh.

"Fans do that a lot, Amara. I just laugh and forget about it anyway."

"Ah, talaga ba?" I sarcastically answered.

"Baby," she said, laughing. "Selosa, psh."

"You're my territory now!" I enjoyed teasing with her. It was really cute.

"I've always been in your territory, and yours is not forgettable; it's remarkable."

And just like that, she just knows how to fix things between us effortlessly. I decided to take a break since Skylar invited me to hang out with them.

"You're so blooming!" Sadie came in, wearing all pink. She's so kikay.

"Yeah, the Philippines is going very well for me." I laughed.

"Kayo na ba?" Skylar kept asking that; she wanted to be so updated about me and Machiko.

"Yes."

Their eyes widened; they couldn't believe what I just said.

"Seryoso?" Galilea was speechless; she didn't think that it would go this far.

"Oo nga! Last night, we talked about it, and we had mutual decisions."

"Congratulations, lovebirds! Huhu!" Sadie and Skylar were so OA. Galilea was just smiling proudly.

"Diba, may meet-and-greet si Machiko ngayon?" Gal asked.

"Meron nga, punta tayo!" Sadie looked at me playfully.

"Sira," I said, rolling my eyes; I didn't want to. I mean, I'm a supportive girlfriend,, but it would be so awkward to witness her fangirls and the cameras everywhere.

"KJ! Tara, punta tayo!" Skylar was so amused. We ended up going even though I didn't want to. Machiko suddenly called me while we were already of the crowd. Sadie effortlessly got tickets for us on the spot; I thought it was already sold out.
