I threw myself into my car, the leather seats cold against my skin. My hands fumbled with the ignition, the engine roaring to life like a caged beast. "Giyuu, why am I so dumb?" I whispered, the words echoing in the confined space.

I tore out of the parking lot, my heart pounding a frantic rhythm against my ribs. The world blurred into a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes as I sped towards his house, every fiber of my being consumed by the need to see him, to tell him, to finally be with him.

The city lights, a glittering tapestry of neon and streetlamps, seemed to mock my urgency. Traffic snarled, a frustrating obstacle in my path. "Fuck," I muttered, my frustration simmering. Every second that passed felt like an eternity.

Finally, I broke free of the traffic, the road ahead clear and beckoning. The sky was already darkening, the first stars beginning to prick the velvet canvas of the night.

I pulled up to Giyuu's gate, the silence of his house unsettling. No guards, no servants, just him, alone in the vast emptiness. I hit the doorbell, the sound echoing in the stillness. Nothing.

"Giyuu!!!" I called out, my voice raw with urgency. Still, no response.

I was about to kick the gate in frustration when it swung open, revealing Giyuu standing there, his face etched with a mixture of hope and apprehension.

"Giyuu," I breathed, my voice catching in my throat. He smiled, a flicker of sadness dancing in his eyes. "You already decided?"

"Yes," I said, a soft smile gracing my lips.

His eyes, previously clouded with doubt, brightened, a spark of hope igniting within them. He stepped forward, his gaze unwavering, his expression a mixture of longing and anticipation.

I stepped inside the gate, closing it behind me, the world fading away as I focused on him.

He reached out, his fingers brushing against my cheek, sending a shiver down my spine. His touch lingered, a silent question hanging in the air between us.

His gaze, intense and searching, held me captive. The scent of his cologne, a mix of cedarwood and musk, filled my senses, intoxicating and grounding.

"You took so long," he said, his voice a low rumble, a hint of vulnerability in his tone. "I almost cried."

My heart ached with a mixture of guilt and relief. I'd been so lost in my own turmoil, so consumed by my doubts, that I hadn't considered the effect my indecision might have had on him.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, my voice catching in my throat. "I needed to figure things out."

He smiled then, a slow, gentle curve of his lips that lit up his face. "I understand," he said, his eyes holding mine with a tenderness that made my breath catch.

He leaned in, his lips brushing against mine, a feather-light touch that sent a jolt of electricity through my body.

I leaned into him, my heart pounding in my chest, a desperate need to feel his touch, to taste his lips, to lose myself in the moment.

His lips, soft and warm, pressed against mine, a gentle, insistent pressure that deepened the kiss. The taste of him, a blend of mint and something else, a hint of something wild and untamed, filled my senses.

I tasted him, savored him, my fingers trailing behind his head, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss.

His tongue, a warm, insistent force, explored my mouth, a dance of passion and tenderness. I met his touch with equal fervor, my body responding to the raw, primal need that pulsed through my veins.

The world faded away, the anxieties and uncertainties of the past hours dissolving as I surrendered to the intoxicating feeling of his touch, the promise of a love that had been so long in coming.

We kissed for what felt like an eternity, a timeless moment suspended in the twilight of the approaching night.

When we finally broke apart, our breaths mingling in the air, a sense of peace and contentment settled over me, a feeling of belonging I had never known before.

"let's continue this inside."
