A few weeks had passed, and Ren sat dutifully beside his Ma's bed, drawing pictures and occasionally glancing up at the still form of Giyuu. His young heart ached with worry, but he kept his hope alive. As he added the final touches to his drawing, he noticed something-Giyuu's face twitched slightly.

Ren's eyes widened with excitement and disbelief. "Ma!" he cried out, scrambling onto the bed. He watched intently as Giyuu's eyes fluttered open, slowly focusing on the room around him.

"Ma!" Ren cried again, tears streaming down his face as he flung himself into Giyuu's arms. Giyuu, still disoriented, instinctively sat up and pulled Ren close, his heart aching at the sight of his son's tears.

"I missed you so much, Ma!" Ren sobbed, clutching Giyuu tightly.

Giyuu patted Ren's back, his voice soothing. "I'm here, Ren. I'm okay. Everything's going to be fine."

Just then, the door opened, and Shinobu walked in. Her eyes widened in surprise and relief as she saw Giyuu awake and holding Ren. She quickly approached the bed, her medical instincts kicking in.

"Giyuu, how do you feel?" she asked, beginning her examination.

"I'm fine," Giyuu replied, still holding a shaking Ren. "A bit tired, but okay."

Shinobu checked his vitals, her expression softening as she found everything normal. "It's a relief to see you awake. I'll have some food sent to you shortly. You'll need to regain your strength."

Giyuu nodded, his attention focused on Ren. "Thank you, Shinobu."

Ren continued to cling to Giyuu, his small body trembling. Giyuu gently patted his back, murmuring reassurances. "I'm not going anywhere, Ren. I'm here, and I'm not leaving you."

Shinobu stepped back, giving them a moment. "I'll give you two some time alone. But if you need anything, just call."

Giyuu nodded again, grateful for her understanding. As Shinobu left the room, Giyuu continued to comfort Ren, feeling a renewed sense of purpose and strength. He was back, and he would do everything in his power to protect his son and be there for him.

...

Sanemi had just returned from a mission, the weight of exhaustion heavy on his shoulders. As he opened the door to his estate, when a crow cawed loudly, startling him.

"Tomioka Giyuu has woken up!" the crow announced.

Sanemi's eyes widened in shock and relief. Without a moment's hesitation, he sprinted towards the Butterfly Mansion, his heart pounding in his chest.

Meanwhile, in the Butterfly Mansion, Giyuu was sitting up, eating a bowl of soup while Ren sat beside him, carefully handing him pieces of food and chatting away about his drawings. The room was filled with a peaceful, quiet warmth.

"

Suddenly, the door flew open with a loud bang, startling both Giyuu and Ren. Sanemi stood in the doorway, huffing and puffing, his face etched with concern and relief.

"Giyuu!" Sanemi exclaimed, rushing into the room.

Giyuu looked up, surprised. "Sanemi?"
