Red is the satisfying touch of a rose petal. A strong presence that demands to be heard. Wine. Blood. The richness is never questionable. It's the feeling of being on the highest peak, and knowing that there is a whole world out there. Ready for you. Awaiting it's commander.
Orange is the feeling of being listened to, and knowing that you are heard. It's the sweet, yet tangy taste of the fruit itself. Bright. Loyal. No different than yellow, yet so unique. Orange is the color for those who want to be their own.
Yellow is the color of sunshine, the bright rays landing on your cold skin. It's the feeling of comforting warmth. An enthusiastic hug from your friend, and cheery hello. Yellow is a happy color, but its simplicity can work wonders. Yellow, even when muted, can make the brightest white feel overshadowed.
Green is the smell of grass and peppermint. The instant calm of herbal tea, and the beauty of a good day. Green is comfort and peace, it's the color of the land when it's not layered with streaks of bloody red. Green, mahogany, and blue are Earth's best friends.
Blue is the color of the vast and open sea, a world of endless possibilities. The color takes up so much space, but never makes you feel small. It's the sibling of green, calming and relaxing. You're free in a blue room, swimming, strolling, floating, flying. Nothing is impossible in a world of blue.
Purple is the spirit in you that yearns to be more than others claim. Richness. Royalty. Ripe grapes. Superstition. Rough and smooth crystals. A feeling of comfort in your heart that knows you only need yourself. A mix of sad yet peaceful blue and loud yet bold red. A combination of plain obvious and crazily contradictory. A lovely combination.
White is pure and bright, a contrasting, celestial sphere in our navy night. White is simple. White is divine, or that's what people say. But white is also the color of whiteout and erasers, always erasing 'mistakes' and destroying beautiful artwork. Just because something looks pretty, does not mean it's perfect. And something like white, never falls into one category.
Black is the color of knowing yet unsaid comments, because they all know your secrets. It's the color of fear, and bravery. It's the color of nightmares and funerals, but it's also the color for the classy and powerful. It's the color of rising to the occasion, it's the color of most uniforms. It's the best color, you can rarely see a stain.
Brown is the texture of tree bark, it's the texture of mud. Solid then soft. It's the color of academia, bookshelves made out of oak in all those dream libraries. Brown has the presence of red, the warmth of yellow, and the comfort that comes from blue. Brown is perfect. Brown is resilient, tough, and has persevered just as much as the wood that supports a tree so that it can stand tall.
