NICOLE'S POV
Oh my gosh, I can't even begin to describe how amazing today was! I just got back from the most incredible date with Lulu, and I'm still buzzing with excitement.
As soon as I walked through the front door, I practically sprinted to my room, barely managing to kick off my shoes before flinging myself onto the bed. I couldn't stop the huge grin that spread across my face as I let out the girliest little squeal.
"Ahhhh, that was the best day ever!" I exclaimed, burying my face in my pillow and kicking my legs like a little kid.
I probably looked completely unhinged, but who cares?
I was on cloud nine!
The whole day had been one adventure after another, and Lulu and I had an absolute blast. From the bungee jumping to the rock climbing, it was like we were living in our own personal adrenaline-fueled romance. And the way Lulu's face lit up when he conquered that rock wall? Swoon!
I mean, seriously, how is he so adorably awkward and badass at the same time? It's like he's two different people, but in the best possible way. When he's not busy being a total sarcastic sass-master, he's this endearing, wide-eyed softie who just melts my heart.
And the way he blushed when I offered to drive him home? Ugh, I just wanted to pinch his cheeks! He's so freaking cute, I can barely stand it.
Sighing contentedly, I rolled onto my back, hugging my pillow tight as I stared up at the glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling. I can't wait to plan our next adventure.
Skydiving, anyone? Or maybe bungee jumping off a bridge? Scuba diving! Whatever it is, I know it's going to be an absolute blast, as long as I'm with my favorite person in the whole world.
Lulu, you're the best, and don't you ever forget it! This is just the beginning of our epic romance. Woohoo!
Hmm, I wonder where that address is? I'm really curious to find out. Tomorrow, I'm going to head over there and check it out. Maybe Lulu has a special surprise waiting for me or something. Or it could just be his regular place - either way, I'm excited to see!
I should probably bring a little something with me, just in case. A picnic basket would be perfect! And maybe some flowers too. Ooh, or a big, fluffy teddy bear! That would be so adorable. I bet Lulu would love it.
I can hardly contain my excitement. This is going to be so much fun! I wonder what kind of adventure is in store for me tomorrow. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Lulu, you better watch out, because Nicole is on the case! Haha, I'm determined to get to the bottom of this mystery. Even if the address turns out to be totally normal, at least I'll get to see Lulu again. That's the best part.
Okay, time to start planning my surprise visit! This is going to be the best day ever, I just know it.
LULU'S POV
Whew, what a day. I'm absolutely exhausted after our date with Nicole. Don't get me wrong, I had the best time with her and I wouldn't trade it for anything. But planning all of that and then actually going through with it really took a lot out of me.
As I sat down after picking up my siblings from Lelet's place, I just couldn't help feeling a little anxious. What if Nicole didn't like it? What if she thought I was too ignorant or stupid?
I mean, I did my best to put something special together, but I can't help worrying that it wasn't enough.
I don't want Nicole to see me as some sort of charity case or feel sorry for me. I want her to see me as an equal, someone who can truly be there for her. But sometimes I can't help feeling totally out of my depth. What if she realizes I'm just not on her level?
