Lightning tore through the sky, followed closely by a thunderous roar. Rain lashed against the dropship, enhancing the somber and dire atmosphere within. The aircraft's low rumbles and vibrations were drowned out by the relentless downpour. Today, three agents had fallen, and their assailant remained a mystery.

After locating and escorting Neon, Killjoy, and Reyna back to Alpha Earth, Brimstone and Sage endeavored to extract any information they could about their attacker. All they managed to glean from Reyna before she fainted again was that he wielded fire-focused Radiance, much like Phoenix.

Sage began her work, starting with Neon, who bore the most grievous wounds.

"So..." Brimstone started, displaying images of the Radiant responsible for the attack and sparing Reyna, Killjoy, and Neon. "What do we know? Who is this guy, and how did he effortlessly take out three of our agents?"

One Japanese agent, dressed in a blue jacket and pants, stepped forward. "Well, obviously they were taken by surprise."

"Good observation, Yoru. But you know as well as I do that someone doesn't just sneak up on Reyna, AND two of our best agents to add to that. Is there anything that could help us pinpoint his identity?" Brimstone scanned the room, meeting the eyes of each present agent, but all drew blanks. "Anyone?" Cypher's low voice emerged from the back.

"I know him. I'd know that golden gun anywhere, and that hat... his clone took after mine, in terms of fashion," Cypher said with crossed arms. "He goes by 'Solaris'."

"Now we're getting somewhere. How do you know him?" Brimstone questioned further.

Cypher walked toward Brimstone, "I know many things about everyone." He said, retrieving a device from his coat pocket. Activating it, a holographic desktop materialized above it. He selected a specific file, and with a swipe, images of a young Y/N appeared, many of him aiming revolvers at tree stumps. Cypher kept swiping through the file, revealing many videos of a teenage Y/n wielding the Golden Gun and shooting down a dead tree stump. Each shot resulted in a solar explosion that set the tree on fire, and by the time Solaris was done shooting, the tree was completely on fire.

"He's from Rabat, as am I. His parents were killed by the cartel running things back then." Cypher explained, his fists clenching at the thought of the cartel.

"How did you meet him?" Sage asked, focused on her healing duties.

"Ah, I knew you'd ask. His name is Dexter McCree, a dear friend. He saved my family from a cartel kidnapping, and I wanted to repay him: but he died." Cypher continued to swipe through files on the hologram, displaying Dexter shooting cans and bottles with deadly accuracy. A smaller child then entered the frame. Dexter fixed the gun into the child's hands and helped him fire, laughing afterward. A rare smile crept onto Cypher's face beneath his mask.

"Perfect. So, where is he?" Brimstone said, preparing to select an agent to visit him.

Cypher cocked his head to the side and put the device away. "Eh..." He muttered, then awkwardly chuckled. "Morocco... possibly."

"You don't seem so sure..." Brimstone said, observing Cypher's unusual awkward body language.

"Because I am not sure if this is a good idea," Cypher admitted, removing his hat and rotating it in his hands, caressing the edges anxiously.

"Why?" Brimstone asked gruffly, growing impatient.

"Because we had a... disagreement a few years ago. He wanted to... I yelled at him, no, screamed at him. Called him things I shouldn't have because I was afraid of breaking a promise to a dead man." Cypher explained with a sigh, clearly missing him.
