Fuve minutes later, Severus Snape Apparated in front of the Malfoy Manor.
The moment he appeared at the manor he knew something was off. He could feel it. His wand at the ready, he paced towards the manor.
He reached the entrance door and slipped into the manor. The whole place was silent.
Yes, the place was always silent since only three people lived here, but this silence was...eerie. Dark. Cold. Dangerous. Snape did not like it at all.
He reached the dinning hall. It was empty. He searched the conference room as well. It was empty too. Where were the Malfoys?
'Draco!' Snape called. 'Lucius!'
Still no answer. Where were they? Or they had gone out? No. If they had, Lucius would have told him.
Snape made to leave when suddenly a shriek raked the atmosphere. It was a female shriek. And it came from Draco's room.
Snape hurried to the room, which was on the second floor on the manor. He reached the room and froze at the sight.
Lucius had his wand pointed at Narcissa Malfoy. And the woman was shaking all over. She was being put under a Cruciatus Curse.
Lucius had a dark gleam in his eyes. Like he was enjoying what he was doing and what was happening.
Snape turned to the side and saw Draco, on the ground and unconscious.
Snape took action. He pointed his wand at Lucius and a flash of red light shot at him. Lucius' wand flew out of his hand and clattered to the ground. He turned to Snape and before Lucous could act, another red light shot out of Snape's wand and blasted Lucius. Malfy Senior was pushed away and he crash on the wall and fell to the ground unmoving.
Snape moved over to Narcissa, who was also unconscious, and felt her pulse.
She was alive. He gave a sigh of relief then started working healing spells on her. She started to regain her colour but was still passed out.
Snape moved to Draco who was on the ground. Snape hoped he was not too late. The Cruciatus Curse on children was more harmful and dangerous than to adults because they were fragile both physically and mentally.
Snape checked Draco's pulse and was glad to realize he had one. But it was a weak one. He did the necessary spells on the little boy. Once he was done, he just stood there and watched Lucius, who was still passed out from being hit with a stunning spell.
Snape did not want to believe it but he had no choice and had seen it with his eyes. Lucius was mad. And he'd tried to hurt his own son and wife.
But why? What would cause him ti do something like this? What would cause him to hurt his family like this?
Snape put the thoughts aside. Right now, these two needed to be in the hospital right now.
