Feelings Lie ( I Don't Feel Anything)

"I came early today from school hearing that we have a meeting so now tell me where's Nate and Tane?" Lydia asked while standing by the door looking at her mother,
"I just called them they are not picking up I guess they are still angry about yesterday," her mother says,

"They are just acting like children nothing else" Lydia says and goes upstairs,

When Lydia came down after a few minutes, she found Nate and Tane sitting at the dinner table with their mother, and Lydia just went towards the table and pulled a chair and sat down,

Lydia's mother gave her a sad look and Lydia couldn't understand which emotion her mother was feeling she first thought she was happy but she wasn't,

"Since you're all here we really need to talk" their mother started, Nate looked annoyed by all this conversation, and Tane looked the same, while on the other hand Lydia had no expression on her face,

"We are moving out" their mother said again, "I don't accept this" Nate finally speaks up, his mother looked at him in his eyes, and simply asked "why? Is the any good about this place?"

"There isn't, but, there are good memories" he said, Tane quickly cleared his throat,  " I really don't want to move out just like Nate but.... which memories? " Tane asked looking at his brother

"I got a better job across the city, we are going to move into a better apartment, it's 3 times bigger than this one, Lydia I'll put you I a better school, I know you're getting bullied," "me? Bullied?" Lydia asked while her mother spoke,

"And Nate you'll find a better job in that neighborhood,  Tane you'll find another girlfriend,  just please I need you to move with me" ther mother said,

Nate sighed, Tane putted his phone down for a second, and Lydia just stared at her mother's eyes, she wanted to know how she was feeling, but she couldn't understand how she was feeling or neither of them was, she didn't even care they were moving, but she knew she wouldn't understand anything, but she knew she had to say something,

"What's all this? Having a meeting just for moving away? Nate you're old enough to think like your age, and Tane I'm sure your girlfriend kate broke up with you once we move wherever you'll get someone" Lydia said and stood up "im tired" she said and went to her room upstairs,

Nate sighed and reached for his mother's hand, "mom if this means alot to you, we can move you have my blessing" she slowly smiled at Nate's words, "Tane? Aren't you gonna say anything?" Nate quickly asked Tane

"Um, before that how this girl knew Kate broke up with me?" Tane asked them both and his mother laughed repeatedly and Nate placed his fingers on the top of his nose, "oh, if im gonna get a soulmate we can go," Tane added and Nate and his mother laughed leaving Tane in a confused state,

"Okay enough back to reality mother when are we leaving?" Nate asked, his mother gulped and quietly said "as early as tomorrow" Nate and Tane first turned to look at each other with shocked faces and then turned to their mother "TOMORROW!!?" They both yelled.

As planned tomorrow no one went to work or school they were packing up their stuff accept for Lydia,  her stuff were already packed up,  they are always are,

She just watched her brothers acting all childish from a distance, especially Tane who kissed all furniture in the house, that was left behind.

The ride was totally silent,  no one talked, until, "I'm already home sick," Tane said "we are going home" his mother said, "turn around then we will be going home" Tane mumbled "huh? Tane did you speak? "  His mother asked Tane who just said nothing.
