Moonrise, Spring 1953, Nursery, Ancient White Cats Tribe

The sun has finally left, leaving a light gray hue and clouds completely covering the sky as the full moon makes its arrival.

King Michael stared up at the cloudy sky and looked at the moon proudly before looking down at his tribe.

"May the oldest elder to the youngest kitten come for a meeting" King Michael announced in a hurry.

The cats knew what time it was and rushed to the meeting. Obviously the elders were last.

"The meeting is today. We will meet with the other kingdoms" King Michael reminded. "All warriors must come, including the princess, Frosty Flowers. Elders fit enough to come may come along. Daffodil, you must stay and keep watch of your kittens since you wish for them not to come"

Millie and Daisy looked down. They had a shot at going but it was ruined. Frosty Flowers looked down at them and gave them a reassuring smile.

"Next year, when you both are trainees you will have a chance to go" Frosty Flowers said.

Millie and Daisy looked pretty much too excited. They wanted to see the warriors of the other tribes and the other kingdoms.

They wanted to see the princes, princesses, kings and queens. They wanted to see the other elders.

They wanted to see the trainees and meet the other youngsters. But now they have to wait a while.

"Where are the trainees? Did they get sucked up by the air or something?" Millie asked.

"You kittens have the weirdest imagination" Tigertooth said. "Obviously and thankfully they have all became warriors"

"Oh right. Well that's going to be us someday" Daisy said.

"Yeah whatever. Just don't fail your test" Tigertooth said as he rolled his eyes and walked away.

"Meeting dismissed" King Michael announced.

"What's Tigertooth's problem? Are there ticks up his ear?" Millie asked.

"He just doesn't like youngsters. It's best to stay out of his fur" Frosty Flowers said before following King Michael.

"Millie! Daisy!" Daffodil yelled. "Come back inside the nursery!"

"Fine. Let's go Millie" Daisy groaned as she rolled her eyes and walked to the nursery. Millie followed behind.

Millie couldn't understand why Daisy got mad over her mother saying to come back inside the nursery.

Daisy grumbled as she nestled down into her nest. She really wanted to go to the gathering, but she couldn't.

Daffodil was looking at Millie with affection and cleaned her fur. Almost like was her only kitten.

This made Daisy grow jealous. Probably Daffodil can't see Daisy because she's just standing in the dark corner and nobody can see her.

Daffodil looked up and couldn't find Daisy. She stopped cleaning Millie and looked around until she saw the familiar shape of Millie's sister.

"Daisy! Please get out of the corner" Daffodil said. Daisy grumbled as she walked out of the corner towards her mother.

"Of course it's always me getting in trouble" Daisy complained.

"Because it is always you. You're sister knows better" Daffodil said.

Daisy growled at Millie in jealousy. She thinks Daffodil is favoriting her sister more. Does she love her more?

"Are you picking favorites now?! Am I not one of your greatest kits?!" Daisy lashed out.

"Daisy! Enough is enough!" Daffodil snapped. "I never play favorites! I just...I wish you were more like your sister"

Daisy was thinking and then she had an idea. A brave idea. She was going to prove herself worthy to her mother...even though it's stupid.

"Mom, I'm going to make it up to you!" Daisy said. "I'm going to prove myself worthy!"

"And what is that? It better not be trying to fight off some rogue" Millie said.

"No... I'm going to find the best flower" Daisy said. "And you're going to race me to it"

Millie looked at Daisy's paw pointed at her. "Me?! I'm not going out there!" She protested.

"Oh come on! Don't be such a scared little pet!" Daisy said, padding out of the nursery. "Let's go"

"I'm coming. Kits aren't allowed to leave the nursery without a warrior or their mother watching them" Daffodil said.

Daisy rolled her eyes and trotted out of the camp. Millie and Daffodil followed, however Millie was very wary.
