Dawn, Spring 1953, Clearing, Ancient White Cats tribe

Millie stood in shock. "So you just kept this a secret?!" She yelled.

"I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want him to hurt you" Daffodil said. "He is a very cold man and he gets aggressive when agitated"

Instead of lashing out and trying to kill her mom, Millie calmed herself down by grooming her fur for a split second.

"Thanks for protecting me I guess..." Millie said calmly. "But you really shouldn't lie like that. You'll never know if I would actually run up to him like that"

"You'd meet your maker. Anyways I guess I should let you off" Daffodil sighed. "Don't tell Daisy though. You know how she is"

Millie nodded and sighed. She just can't shake the feeling of how her mom lied like that.

But instead of letting these horrid feelings get to her, she decided to just continue on with her training.

Dawn, Winter 1953, Trainee den, Ancient White Cats Tribe

Millie yawned and stretched. It was the final day of training. Six months of training went faster than the wind can go.

Millie shook her fur and decided to go ahead and see if Frosty Flowers is up. Usually the princess wakes her up first.

Millie walked into the ruler's den. She noticed King Michael and Frosty Flowers weren't there.

Maybe they went on patrol? Maybe they had to do something private? Millie started walking around and saw King Michael.

Millie walked over to King Michael. "Where's Frosty Flowers? She's usually up by now"she asked.

"Frosty Flowers has got a stomach ache" King Michael replied. "She's in the healer den right now. You get a little break from training at least"

Millie decided to see Daisy who was just getting up. Her sister looked awfully frustrated.

"Hey Daisy what's wrong? You look like someone just stole the last prey in the pile" Millie asked.

"Oh you know what's wrong! Mom told you right?!" Daisy lashed out.

"What are you talking about? Is your brain the size of a squirrel right now?" Millie asked.

"I know what you and mom were talking about!" Daisy yelled. "Sunrise is a liar and a bad excuse for a father!"

Millie looked down. "Yeah but mom was protecting us from him" She said honestly. "She said he was cold and rude"

"And I can't believe that the bad excuse of life decided to leave us behind for some rogue life!" Daisy lashed out before storming off.

Millie just shook her head and walked the other way. She decided to take a bird and give it to Tigertooth.

Millie walked into the elder den and saw Tigertooth cleaning himself off again, not bothering to notice her.

"I can sense your presence, trainee" Tigertooth said harshly between licks, not even looking up. "If you come for a story I ain't got the energy to!"

"No I just came to bring you this" Millie said as she placed the bird in front of Tigertooth's mossy bed.

"Eh? You're one of the kindest trainees I ever dealt with in forever!" Tigertooth purred in approval as he finally stopped licking and looked up.

Millie smiled as Tigertooth took the bird and began to eat. She left the den and saw Frosty Flowers leaving the healer den.

"Thanks for everything again. I don't want my trainee to wait for me forever" Frosty Flowers said.

"Take care now" The healer responded from inside the den.

"Hey Millie! Let's get started with our final practice before your assessment tomorrow" Frosty Flowers said.

Millie happily decided to follow Frosty Flowers to begin training. The trainee practiced away with effort.

Moonrise, Winter 1953, Clearing, Ancient White Cats Tribe

It was now moonrise. Millie has just finished her training and is excited for her assessment tomorrow.

She looked at the prey pile and noticed there was a few rotten prey there. A couple crows were infiltrating the prey pile!

Millie ran to the crows and they flew away out of shock. Millie picked up the rotting mouse and squirrel with a disgusted look on her face.

The flies weren't very happy that they were being moved. Millie put the rotting squirrel in the bucket.

There were maggot crawling out of the rotting mouse's eye. Millie just looked away as she put the mouse in the bucket.

"I'll take that" A warrior called out, walking towards Millie. She couldn't be bothered to say anything out of tiredness so she just went to bed early.
