Dawn, Spring 1953, Training area, Ancient White Cats Tribe

Millie followed Frosty Flowers to the training area where they will learn how to fight.

It was this huge grass-free area free of sticks, rocks, leaves and other obstacles. There were pawprints everywhere, a signal that many trainees and warriors came here.

"This is the training area. You will come here to learn how to fight and maybe train your own future trainee here" Frosty Flowers said as she turned to Millie.

Millie's eyes lit up. The idea of training a trainee herself sounded like a lot of work but also a lot of fun.

"First let's learn a move called the Stalk Ambush" Frosty Flowers said. "If you're stealthy enough, you can perform this stress free. First, you find somewhere dark or shady to hide at"

Millie hid in a bush. It was pretty dark in there, her white fur could be mistaken for frost.

"Now you get in a hunter's crouch" Frosty Flowers said. Millie got in a hunter's crouch position.

"If the enemy isn't looking then you stalk carefully like they are prey" Frosty Flowers said as she turned around.

Millie took two careful pawsteps to avoid the bush making a lot of noise and getting her caught.

"Then, whenever you're ready, you pounce on the enemy!" Frosty Flowers said as she stayed turned around.

Millie then suddenly sprang in the air. Unfortunately for her, the bush made a lot of rustling and Frosty Flowers turned around.

Millie's eyes widened as she was kinda flying in the air towards Frosty Flowers. The princess sprang in the air and tackled the trainee.

Millie made a loud oof sound as she was pinned down by Frosty Flowers. The princess was breathing heavily.

"You made a lot of noise. Enemies still have good hearing" Frosty Flowers said as she got off Millie. "Try it again. Maybe take a few more pawsteps"

Millie went back and hid in the bush. She got back to her hunter's crouch and Frosty Flowers turned around.

Millie took two pawsteps but then the bush rustled. A squirrel ran out of the bush and Frosty Flowers turned around.

"Caught you! I'm taking you to King Michael!" Frosty Flowers joked. "Try it again. Maybe check for prey next time"

Millie backed up, still in her hunter's crouch. She took four careful pawsteps. The bush was brushing uncomfortably against her fur.

Millie leaped in the air. The bush made no noise. Frosty Flowers was still waiting for her when suddenly she was knocked down by the trainee.

Millie's paw was pressed onto Frosty Flowers' head. The princess looked up at her with an approving smile.

"Well done" Frosty Flowers said. "Now I'll teach you the next battle move. It's called the Swift Ambush. Now pretend I'm attacking you"

Millie kept her eyes locked on Frosty Flowers as the princess began to circle her. The trainee's tail swished furiously.

"You must be quick on your paws" Frosty Flowers said. "You have to strike when your enemy isn't looking just like the stalk move"

Frosty Flowers and Millie both had their eyes locked on each other. Suddenly, the trainee had an idea.

"Daisy's coming!" Millie lied. Frosty Flowers looked behind her and suddenly the trainee tackled the princess to the ground.

"I was going to tell you that distracting your enemies is key" Frosty Flowers chuckled. "But you got it. Let's combine the Stalk Ambush and the Swift Ambush together. I'll do the stalking and you try to use your swiftness"

Millie turned around as Frosty Flowers hid behind a bush. The trainee turned around like she was some sort of guard.

Suddenly, Frosty Flowers sprung out of the bush. Millie saw that so she swiftly swiped at the princess.

Frosty Flowers fell to the ground with a thud. Her long fur is getting dirty but she got up and shook it off.

"Nice job Millie. I never saw a trainee be that quick" Frosty Flowers praised. Millie smiled.

"Do you want to swap turns now?" Frosty Flowers asked. Millie was huffing and puffing.

"No. We should move on" Millie said. "I don't think I could pounce on you well"

"That's alright. We'll take another quick round after your helping lesson" Frosty Flowers said. "Now let's go and take that helping lesson!"
