When everything fell apart right before my eyes, he stepped into my life and extended his hand.
A simple act of kindness—offering his handkerchief when I didn't have any—suddenly gave me a glimmer of hope.
The boy I never thought would care was the only one who stayed when everyone else turned their backs on me.
He saved me, like a match striking in my darkest hour, illuminating my path, and guiding me back.
I owe it to him. My life.
Tell me, Rindou, is this love? because if it is...
I want to stay with you forever.

"Whoa! y/n is just ahead of you by one point! Just two more correct points and you could have been the top student, Rindou!" the pink-haired male said, peering behind his friend to see his grades. "You've always been in second place throughout all three years of high school. Aren't you tired? Everyone keeps comparing you to the goddess!"
"It doesn't matter. I don't care about grades," Rindou said, uninterested.
"You don't care about anything. Are you a robot? Do you even have emotions? When was the last time you felt excited about something?"
"Hmm... I wonder when," he said, resting his head on his palm and glanced at the door where you were standing, talking to a bunch of students.
You are what they call a white lotus. The perfect student, the perfect daughter who grew up in a perfect and loving family. You're good at everything—club activities, studies, even dancing and singing. You're also kind to everyone, which is why most of your classmates want to be friends with you.
Yes, there is jealousy from other students here and there, but every time they try to intimidate you, you handle it with such grace. You may be kind, but you have a strong sense of justice and won't back down, especially when you know you're right.
And people admire you for that.
You're also popular with boys—who wouldn't be? A picture-perfect princess straight out of a fairytale within their reach. But of course, you ignore them all because you're in a committed relationship with your long-time boyfriend, Hakkai, whom you met back in kindergarten. He was your best friend first before becoming your significant other. You trust him with your heart, giving him all your love without keeping anything for yourself. That's how much you love him.
You are content with this life and wouldn't exchange it for anything. While some might find it boring, you consider it perfect. You can't ask for more, as everything you have right now is more than enough.

"Hey! Aren't you and Hakkai going on an after-class date? Why are you still here?" Minnie, your best friend, asked. She just came back from her club activity to get her bag.
"Yeah, but..." You looked at the time; it was already 5:00 p.m. You then glanced back at the report you were finishing. "I need to finish this and submit it to Mrs. Takehiro."
She glanced at your report and lightly shook her head. "You cancelled the planned birthday date with him last time; don't cancel this too."
"I know, Minnie... It's just that..."
Your best friend sighed. "I know that you want everything to be perfect, but you're only human. Don't take every school responsibility on your own! Ask for help. I know a lot of our classmates will be willing to extend a hand."
