Silence.

Total silence.. was what surrounded the place behind the abandoned building. A pile of golden feathers sat quietly on the ground, the crows' mouths agape, as if they lost the ability to speak.

Their minds a total mess, a crow didn't notice that there was someone behind. It was only when Caal Birkenstock gasped, "no!" that they came to their senses. It was futile, however, as Jaius had already slit that crow's neck with their own ancestor's feather.

The crow falls on the floor with a thud, its blood dripping down the golden feather in Jaius's hand.

Bane, "You son of a bitch!" and charged, leaping high to the sky. Jaius's violet eyes glanced at the angry crow and managed to take three steps back.

A smirk made its way to his face. And Caal wanted nothing more than to be six-feet-under already.

The fight continued. Tons of sharpened rocks flew past the wind like bullets, and Bane was able to steel his body just a split-second before it hit, making the rock fly off.

His friends were not that quick, however, and it pierced through their bodies, one-by-one.

Bane was the last man standing. Through his gritted teeth, Caal could see he's fighting for his life. He shouted, "Jaius, stop this!" And finally decided to interfere. Because he knows that if anyone from the school sees them like this, all of their families will be affected.

The wind circled around them, growing in size until they literally couldn't see outside anymore. Caal's blonde hair glowed bright, his eyes piercing, as he motioned his hands in a circular motion, using the wind to separate Bane and Jaius from each other, creating a barrier in between.

From his left, he could see Jaius in his peripheral vision, his eyes turning orange. He's annoyed, I'm doomed. Caal tried to focus on his breath. He then spoke, "Jaius, Bane, stop this right now."

"Who are you to command me?" Bane spat, banging on the barrier, glaring eyes set on Jaius.

Caal really thought this dude a headache. "Bane, stop being childish! We're gonna get punished if we're caught here like this."

He noticed Jaius on the side, smirking. The color of his eyes back to yellowish. "Have fun, you two." And casually turned around, walking the opposite direction, looking like he lost interest.

"Eh, wait, Jaius!" And then Jaius was gone. Caal's face turned sad instantly. He looked at his hands, "Could he not.. recognize me?"

On the way back to the dormitory, Jaius's face became serious. He checked his memories, and he was right!

He had a new memory. Except, it was old.

A new old memory? This just meant one thing.

Also, why is that transferee's face the one inside his new memory?

He unthinkingly grabbed a student and asked, "Where's the transferee?"

That's how he got to the detention room, which was deserted and quiet. He scratched at his face, at the cut he got from earlier, and found it was still bleeding. That fucker, tsk.

He circled around the room, all while reviewing his new old memory. It was the memory of him when he was little – specifically the time when he first used his powers.

That unfortunate ni -

"Fuck, what is that kid doing there?" He muttered, sitting down and holding his head. In his memory, he found a pathetic-looking person on the streets, and chose to lead him to his house. When he remembered the innocent face, he said, "Hey, transferee. Stop messing with my past."

It was all fine, until he found that he led that kid to the wolves. The skies had rumbled. "Fuck! Get out of there!" Jaius knew what changing the past could do. If you can change the past, you can also change the future. This innocent kid could kill his future self and end up not being born! His instincts took control of him and Jaius used a forbidden spell to pull that idiot out from history. Just before the tragedy that changed his life.

He can't kill one more person. No.

Absolutely clueless and burn marks on his body from the acid, the transferee sat on the floor of the detention room. His face was worried, when his eyes landed on Jaius's. There was shock. He tilted his head, "You've become handsome, eh?"

Jaius couldn't believe this dude. "You nearly just lost a life, yet that is what you say?" It was when realization so obviously landed on the transferee's face, that Jaius enjoyed the most. His anxiety was relieved. Did the kid really just realize that the one in front of him and the one beside him minutes ago were the same? A smile found its way on Jaius's face. He teased, "So, did you miss me? Little bunny."

Juyeon.. was in shock.

He backed away at once, even banging on a table. He looked around. Shelves of books, tables, chairs, and the person in front of him – who is wearing a sleek pair of uniform with the Hell University's logo.

What the hell?!

The kid he was with earlier.. was this dude? How is that even possible?

The reason why he was in that room then came back to him. Right, he was put in detention. He then.. fell asleep?

So.. it was all just a dream.

"I gotta give you that, lil' bunny. You have the guts." Juyeon was still out of it when Jaius bended down to his level, the hues of his eyes changing to hints of green and orange. His eyes were..

Gorgeous.

And when he smiled – "Easy there, transferree. You're not my type." With a low voice.

"The fuck!" Juyeon almost bumped his head on the table behind him as he crawled backwards. But he was grabbed by Jaius, whose face suddenly turned serious.

"Tell me, how did you do that?"

Juyeon was caught off-guard with Jaius's sudden change. What's with this dude? "Dude, get away from me." Their faces were literally just a few centimeters away from each other. Not being self-conscious or something, but Jaius's perfect nose was getting on Juyeon's nerve.

He's weird. What is he so serious for? Juyeon wondered. "Do you even have any idea what you just did?" Again, his voice was not the usual. It was deeper.

"What? Stop being weird!" He wanted to flee, so Juyeon stood up, only now realizing that it's dark. Wait, how long was he even gone? Everything was so weird. What was that dream all about?

Ofcourse, just his luck, Jaius did not seem intent on letting him go. His feet suddenly stopped moving, and his body afroze. "What the fuck? What's happening to me?" Juyeon was about to panic, why can't he move his body!

"It's rude not to answer someone's question. I even asked so politely." A cold voice from behind. A cold breath nearing the back of his neck. "You think you can just leave, after altering my past?" Fuck, why is he doing this? All hints of smile escaped from Jaius's voice as he added, lowly, slowly, "Was it fun?"

And that's when Juyeon knew,

He fucked up.
