Caleb
Something's seriously wrong. Seth starts shaking.
"Seth, babe. Talk to me."
"Do you know how worried I was when I found out you were hurt? And that I was the reason why you went looking for a fight?"
His voice shakes. I turn him around to face me, pulling him into my arms. He pulls away from me. I pull him back in.
"Cal, don't. I don't deserve-"
"Shush. Yes you do. Let me comfort you," I say.
"But-"
"But nothing. I'm healed. I'm okay," he says.
"Caleb, just take one day to rest, please."
He steps away from me.
"Seth."
"You can't rest and recover with me here," he says.
"Seth. They healed me. I'm fine."
"I can't risk hurting you. Not when you were in the fight," he says.
"It's not your fault. I went looking for the fight," I say.
"I can't risk it. I need you to rest, to take it easy, at least for one day. I need you to be okay," he says.
"If I promise to rest and take it easy, will you stay?" I ask.
"If you let me take care of you and not over exert yourself," he says.
"I swear," I say.
"Ok then," he says.
We head to my room and I lay my head on his chest. He runs his fingers through my hair. I relax into his touch, closing my eyes.
"I love you," he says.
"I love you too," I say.
