46. On guard

~Brianna POV~

I sit at the kitchen and wait for the sun to rise while I think about what happened in the showers. Liv and Rhea walk down stairs together and I could tell they couldn't sleep because of what happened. You want answers I said to them yawning, yes we do and we want to have our sage back to her normal self said Liv walking to the kitchen and starting to make coffee as Rhea grabbed eggs and bacon. Salem played with her mindset and turned her into a fighter, that submits only when she's in her cell aka sages bedroom I said looking around. Should we be careful about you asked Rhea cracking some eggs and frying them, no but you should be careful with what you do and act around sage because she can be dangerous if she feels like she's going to get attacked I said. Why is she protective over Callie and not us asked Liv pouring coffee in a mug for me and sliding it over to me, Callie is the one who fought for her and protected her when it came to Damon I said sipping my coffee. Wait how do - I told her said Maura walking inside from the guest house. How are you recovering Brianna asked Maura grabbing herself a mug and making some tea, I'm doing good thanks to you I said.
Jane walked in and kissed Mauras cheek and fixed her hair causing Maura to blush, wait so you knew about sage when she first got into the unit asked Rhea finishing the eggs. Yes and that's because Maura had me in the inside dealing with Salem's gang and watching Luna I said looking at them. I started explaining everything and what happened in the jail to make it easier for them to understand how sage was feeling and how her mental state is now.

I woke up in panic and got out of bed checking everywhere in the room to see if anyone entered the room but it was just Callie and I. Sage are you ok baby asked Callie getting out of bed and walking to me, I looked at Callie and nodded. Lets go downstairs and eat breakfast and see everyone said Callie giving me shirt and slacks, I started getting undressed in front of her and she did the same trying to avoid looking at my scars. Sage once we get downstairs you can relax and Let your guard down around everyone, they are your family and friends said Callie kissing my cheek. I nodded and opened the door and looked both ways just to make sure we are safe, Callie took my hand and walked me slowly down the stairs to everyone. I saw everyone and I immediately stared at Brianna, once we entered the kitchen I hugged Maura. Maura hugged me back and told me that I was safe and I wasn't going to get hurt any more. I nodded and let her go as I saw everyone else, Brianna go sleep I'll stand guard I said and Brianna nodded at me. Sage everyone here in the house are part of the inner circle so your safe said Brianna finishing her coffee, we can trust them? Did they past the tests and they all have scars!? I asked Brianna and she nodded as everyone showed me scars on their body. I nodded and looked at Callie and she showed me her causing me to kiss her cheek. Hey sage Rhea made breakfast for you said Callie as Rhea put a plate in front of me full of eggs and bacon. I nodded and started eating it fast making people realize I didn't eat much in jail. Sage I need to check your wounds because you left the hospital once you woke up said Maura taking my hand and taking me into a spare office. I sat down on the couch while Maura put her own first aid kit down on the table and sat into the chair that has wheels. I took off my shirt trying not to show her pain but she could tell, sage I know your in pain and it's ok to show me that your in pain said Maura as the door opened. I automatically grabbed Maura and pen and stood in front of her protecting Maura, it's ok baby girl it's just me said Callie walking in to the room slowly with her hands up. I dropped the pen and nodded letting Callie close the door and Maura continue. Sorry Maura force of habit, I didn't mean to scare you I said sitting back down for Maura to give me a check up. Callie sat in a chair across from me and I felt disappointed in myself knowing I scared her and she's scared of me, sage how are you feeling asked Maura as she put cream on my wounds. I feel like everyone is scared of me because of what I become I said looking at the marks on my body. We aren't scared hunny we are just nervous about what happened to you and we want to help you said Callie looking at me. Imagine this house is your cell and outside of the house is the yard, and each place that you go its like a vacation from your cell said Callie getting up and slowly walking to me. I'm scared of what's going to happen if I leave the cell and if someone is going to hurt my inner circle, I told her looking up at her with tears in my eyes. I will protect you and so will your inner circle because we love you and we will help you go through this said Callie kissing me softly. I suddenly had a flash back of the moments that Liv, Rhea, Callie and I were together laughing and having fun together.
Rhea and Liv protect me when we are together I asked Callie, Callie nodded and I kissed her again. They are mine? Yes baby girl we are yours and we will never stop being yours said Liv and Rhea together as everyone walks into the room. Tears rolled down my face while I hugged Callie tight, having flashbacks of all the good times we had in the past.
