44. Saving her life ⚠️trigger⚠️

~Maura POV~

I get called down to the women's unit straight away as I walk into the nurses office. I run with a officer that was new and obviously was different then the others, we get to the door and the officer pulls me to side as she says brace yourself because it's sage, the officers name was alice. She works undercover for Salem's gang, I nodded and stood behind her as she grabbed a riot shield and joined the other officers as they begin to breach the door. Once the officers open the door  they busted through and made a path for me to see two girls on the ground, one bleeding and another one that was to bloody and beaten up to see who it was. I suddenly hear a pounding against the riot shields and I saw Luna and Carla, causing me to yell at alice to grab the girl who was the bleeding  while I grabbed the other one. We both dragged them out and put them on the already prepared tables that had wheels on them and IVs on them. We need to get them to the hospital that's closest to the jail i said and alice nodded as she yells at a officer to get the chopper ready. I looked up at saw Luna smirking while Salem leaned against the railing watching me with a concerned face mixed with a evil smirk. I wrapped a cloth over the person I covered the eyes as I whipped the blood off her arm, seeing a arrow with the shape of a tear filled with blood. Alice told me to follow her outside to the chopper, I nodded and pushed the girl outside hearing her trying to speak. I could tell who it was right away and that made me upset, sage don't open your eyes and don't speak your heading to the hospital now! When we get to the helicopter a EMT helped me put sage into the helicopter and put her next to the other women. Sage mumbled the word Brianna while sage touched the other womans hand as alice and I got into the helicopter and took off to the hospital.

~2 hours before~

~Brianna POV~

I started punching Carla and push her back from sage  trying to defend sage knowing she would be dead if Carla got to her. I punch and throw some of the girls out of the shower  as I tell sage to stay awake for me. One of the girls dropped their shivs and I picked it up stabbing Carla in the thigh and one of the girl in the shoulder. I was able to defend them for a while but I saw Salem and she nodded at me giving me the sign to cover sage and I did just that. The alarm went off and I automatically threw the shiv and I fell covering sage with my body as I started getting cut and punched and stabbed, causing me to lose blood but all I did was tell sage Ive got her and she's safe. Once I heard the officers bust through the door I mumbled to sage that she's safe, as I collapse down next to her and close my eyes knowing she's going to be helped.

~present time~

I feel sages hand in mine and I mumbled your safe while I felt someone lift me up and put me into something causing me to lose touch with sage. I opened my eyes and I saw a skinny pale women who kept looking at sage concerned and scared, g-go help her I managed to say as I spit out some blood. We are both going to help you, my name is Meredith grey and we are taking you to surgery right away said Meredith pushing me to entrance with sage behind me getting pushed by the two women who put us in the helicopter.

~Jane POV~

I run inside and meet up with Maura as I see a nurse push someone into the building towards the emergency room. Alice told Maura that doctor Bailey has it as Maura stood in front of the emergency room doors, just staring at it while she watched doctor Bailey take the women.
Maura who were they.. MAURA WHO WERE -  it was sage Jane said Maura with tears in her eyes, I run to Maura and hug her tight and brought over to a private room. Maura kept crying and repeating what she saw and I started tearing up hearing what she saw knowing I wasn't there to prevent her from seeing it, alice walks in and closes the door behind her. Alice puts the blinds down and explains to me what happened and how she is undercover for Salem's mafia. I would shoot you right now but I dont want to do paper work and cause Maura trama I said to Alice. She helped me Jane and she knew it was sage said Maura wiping her tears, Damon walked into the prison and he was supposed to get to sage but Luna was told to hurt sage not to kill her. Carla didn't get the message apparently, Damon is under arrest and he is in custody and held in a secure room with chains wrapped around his body said Alice. I nodded and hear someone yelling in Spanish causing me to look at Maura, watch Maura and do not come out unless I tell you I told Alice and she nodded.
I walk out of the room and see Callie, Liv and Rhea upset and angry. Jane what the fuck happened! Yelled Rhea getting in my face, calm down Rhea and sit down I said trying not to cry. Callie your needed in the emergency room   Yelled the loud speaker causing Callie to run into the emergency room, I explained everything to Liv and Rhea and how the women who came in with her saved her life. Alice and Maura walked out and Alice explained the rest about Damon and Luna.
