AUTHOR'S POV

Shubman was busy preparing for his meeting, going through notes and making last-minute adjustments. Ruhi, having just finished her breakfast, came bounding into the room with an excited expression.

Ruhi: "Daddy, can we go to the park today? Anu is going to be there, and I want you to meet her!"

Shubman: (glancing up from his notes) "Oh, sweetheart, I have an important meeting today. I can't make it to the park."

Ruhi: (pleading) "But Daddy, Anu is waiting for us. Please, please come with me! I really want you to meet her."

Shubman: "I understand, Ruhi, but this meeting is really important. I need to be there."

Ruhi's face fell, and she started to tear up. She stomped her feet in frustration, her small hands balled into fists.

Ruhi: (crying) "Daddy, you always say you're too busy! I want you to meet Anu. She's my best friend, and she wants to see you too!"

Shubman felt a pang in his heart at the sight of his daughter's tears. He knew how much Ruhi valued her friendship with Anu and how important it was for her that he meet Anu.

Shubman: (sighing, trying to calm her) "I know, Ruhi. I'm really sorry. But we can't just skip the meeting. It's very important for my work."

Ruhi: (angrily) "You always have work! You never have time for me or Anu! Why can't you just come with me for once?"

Her frustration and disappointment were palpable. Shubman's heart ached seeing Ruhi so upset. He knew how crucial it was to balance his responsibilities with being there for his daughter.

Shubman: (kneeling to her level, gently) "Ruhi, I understand you're upset. I really do. How about this? I'll finish my meeting as quickly as I can, and then we'll go to the park together. I promise."

Ruhi: (sniffling) "Really? You'll come?"

Shubman: "Yes, really. I'll make sure to be there as soon as my meeting ends."

Ruhi's tears slowly subsided as she looked at her father with hopeful eyes. She gave him a hesitant nod, and Shubman hugged her tightly.

Shubman: "I'm sorry for making you upset. I'll try my best to be there for you and Anu. Just give me a little time, okay?"

Ruhi: (whispering) "Okay, Daddy. I love you."

Shubman: "I love you too, sweetheart. I'll see you at the park soon."

With a promise made, Ruhi wiped her tears and went to play with her toys, her mood slightly lifted. Shubman returned to his work, his thoughts occupied by the anticipation of meeting Anu and the hope of making his daughter happy.

ANAYA'S POV

I'm sitting on a bench in the park, my gaze drifting across the lush greenery and the playful laughter of children. The sun was setting, casting a warm, golden hue over the surroundings.

I was excited and a bit nervous as I waited for Ruhi and her father to arrive. It had been a few days since they had first met, and I had enjoyed their time together immensely.
