Author's POV

The past few days had been nothing short of a whirlwind for Anaya. The moments she had spent with Shubman and Ruhi had rekindled something deep within her-a love she thought had been lost. But now, that love had come rushing back, leaving her in an emotional crossroad. It wasn't just about her and Shubman anymore; Rohan, too, was part of this equation. He had stood by her side, offering patience and understanding, and Anaya couldn't keep him in the dark any longer. He deserved the truth.

It was a quiet evening, and after a long day, Anaya found herself sitting on her bed, lost in thought. She knew what she had to do, but that didn't make it any easier. Picking up her phone, she hesitated for a moment before typing out a message to Rohan.

Anaya: "Hey, Rohan. There's something important I need to talk to you about. Could we meet in person? I think it would be better if we could talk face-to-face."

She sent the message, her heart pounding as she waited for a response. She had never imagined that she would find herself in this situation-caught between two men, both of whom she cared for deeply, but in very different ways.

The sound of Ruhi's laughter echoed from the living room, pulling Anaya out of her thoughts. She took a deep breath and made her way to the living room, where Shubman and Ruhi were playing an enthusiastic game of hide-and-seek. Ruhi's giggles filled the air as she hid behind the couch, trying to avoid being found by her father.

"Gotcha!" Shubman exclaimed as he scooped Ruhi up into his arms, spinning her around while she squealed with delight.

Anaya smiled at the scene, warmth spreading through her chest at the sight of them. This was everything she had wanted-a loving family, a sense of belonging. But the buzzing of her phone in her pocket brought her back to reality. She glanced down and saw that Rohan had replied.

Rohan: "Hey, Anaya. Sure, I'm actually in Gujarat right now for a meeting. I'd love to see you. When and where?"

Anaya's heart skipped a beat. He was already in Gujarat? She hadn't expected him to be so close. She quickly typed out a response.

Anaya: "Oh, that's perfect. Let's meet at a café nearby. I'll send you the address."

She hit send, then looked up to find Shubman watching her with a curious expression on his face. He walked over, concern etched on his features.

"Everything okay?" Shubman asked, his tone gentle but probing.

Anaya nodded, slipping her phone back into her pocket. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just... I need to step out for a bit. I'm meeting someone."

Shubman's brow furrowed slightly as he studied her. "Who are you meeting?"

"Rohan," Anaya replied softly, noticing the way Shubman's expression shifted at the mention of his name. "I need to talk to him about... everything that's been happening."
