The sunlight streamed through the grand windows of the Jaipur palace, casting a warm golden glow across the room. The space was filled with the soft hum of excitement and laughter, as the preparations for the Mehendi ceremony were in full swing. Anaya sat in front of a large mirror, taking a deep breath as she prepared herself for the day that marked the first official wedding function.

Her reflection smiled back at her, showing a mix of nervousness and joy. Today, she had chosen to wear a rich green lehenga, embroidered with delicate gold thread that shimmered with every movement.
