AUTHOR'S POV

Anaya sat on the bed, still enveloped in the warmth of Shubman's words from the voice note. The soft glow of the fairy lights and candles made the room feel like a dream-a world apart from the chaos and exhaustion of her day-to-day life. She had let herself relax, basking in the love that Shubman had so openly shared through his words. But as the soft sound of footsteps approached, her heart skipped a beat.

The door creaked open, and she turned her head slightly, her curiosity piqued. And there he was-Shubman, standing in the doorway with the most beautiful bouquet of deep red roses she had ever seen. A hundred roses, at least. His eyes met hers, full of love and sincerity, and her breath caught in her throat as he slowly walked towards her.

But what took her breath away was when he suddenly knelt down behind her, lowering himself to one knee, holding the enormous bouquet in his hands like a precious offering

But what took her breath away was when he suddenly knelt down behind her, lowering himself to one knee, holding the enormous bouquet in his hands like a precious offering. His gaze never wavered from hers, and his smile-the most loving, heartfelt smile-made her heart flutter. He looked at her as though she was his entire world, the center of everything he cared about.

Anaya's hand flew to her mouth in shock, her eyes wide as she took in the sight of him on his knees before her, the massive bouquet in his hands, and that beautiful, apologetic smile on his face.

Shubman's voice was soft but steady, filled with emotion as he began to speak. "Anaya... kya tum mujhe ek aur moka dogi?

(Will you give me one more chance?)

Firse tumhara boyfriend banne ka, firse tumhara pride banne ka...

(to be your boyfriend again, to be the one who makes you proud...?)

Anaya blinked back tears, unable to find her voice as she listened to his words. She couldn't believe what was happening-it felt too perfect, too beautiful to be real.

Shubman continued, his voice growing more tender. "*Main jaanta hoon maine galtiyan ki hain... tumhe itni baar dukhi kiya hai, lekin ek baat toh sach hai-main tumse bepanah pyaar karta hoon. Tum meri zindagi ho, Anaya.*"

(Translation: *"I know I've made mistakes... I've hurt you so many times, but one thing is true-I love you endlessly. You are my life, Anaya."*)

Anaya's eyes filled with tears as she absorbed his words, her heart aching with the depth of emotion he was pouring into each one. She couldn't look away from him, couldn't do anything but listen and feel.

Shubman gently held out the bouquet of roses to her, his gaze never leaving hers. "Each one of these roses is for every time I've hurt you, for every reason I'm sorry. I know I can't change the past, but I want to make it right-one rose at a time."
