Adrien was afraid to go to holder with the broken miraculous. He knew they would be disappointed. But he also knew that he had to do it. To save his mom. Nathalie. So he walked to Marinettes house and entered the shop. He walked fowards and asked her parents if he could go to her room and see her. They agreed, and gave him the free macaroons that Marinette had made just for him. He thanked them, and took a bite out of one. It was delicious. The sweet strawberry flavor and a slight tangyness from the filling. Best macaroons he's ever had, for sure. He went up the stairs to Marinettes room. He blushed at the sight of her asleep on her bed. She looked so weet just laying there. He didn't want to wake her, but he knew this was an emergency.
"Marinette?"
"Five more minutes, mom." She responded to Adrien in her sleep. She was still not fully awake and not aware of who it was that was in her room. Adrien lightly tapped her shoulder, needing her to wake up. He had to get the miraculous fixed to be able to save Nathalie. Him and his father needed her at home, or nothing, nothing, would ever be the same again. Plus he wouldn't be able to stand to lose both of his mothers. His real mother, and the person he viewed as his mother. He couldn't lose Nathalie.
"It's me, Adrien."
"WHAT?!" She jumped up, confused but excited.

Adrien greeted her, thanked her for the macaroons and explained what he knew about the situation going on. By the end, Marinette was left in utter disbelief. She knew how much Nathalie meant to him, and knew that she had to help them.

She asked him for the broken miraculous and he handed to them. She flipped through a large book trying to find a way to fix them.

"Anything?" Adrien asked her after a while, beginning to get impatient.
"Mmm, no... not yet- oh, here!" She said finally finding the right spell to fix them.
She sorted all the parts of the cat miraculous first, said the spells words. A bright light boomed throughout the room and created a loud sound. But the ring looked good as new, and they were both surprised her parents didn't come up to check what had happened. Marinette repeated the process with the ladybug miraculous, and the same loud light and sound happened. This time, Sabine and Tom did come up to see what had caused the noise. She shoved the two miraculous under her pillow. Then, Marinette made up and excuse and said something had fallen. She picked up a random item laying on the floor, and showed it to her parents.
"See, it was just this!"
"That caused such a loud noise?" Her mom asked.
"Well, yeah. If you drop it at a certain angle then-" Marinette began to rant, hoping to bore her parents and make them leave. Luckily, her plan worked and her parents left without much suspicion.

Marinette pulled the miraculous out from under her pillow and stared at them.
"How could I have been so irresponsible?!"
"I don't know but I need to go help my mom and father now." Adrien said, not wanting to hear Marinette start yapping about random shit he could care less about. Or, right now he didn't care. He always cared about what Marinette had to say. But not right now. Now, he was more interested in going to bring Nathalie back to life.

He thanked Marinette for helping him, gave her a quick hug, a kiss on the cheek and ran off. Marinette stood frozen in her room, shocked that he just kissed her.

Meanwhile, Adrien was zooming through the streets of Paris. Every single street was full, since all the residents had come out once they heard about Miss Sancoeurs suicide. Adrien pushed through all of them, careful with the miraculous in his left pocket.

Almost everyone on the streets was asking him if he knew what happened. Of course he didn't. He had been fast asleep when she had done it. He ignored them but they insisted on asking him more and more questions. He arrived to the mansions front gate.

That was when he realized he had no way to open it. Adrien pulled his phone out of his right pocket. He called his dad and he  instantly picked up.
"Father, could you please open the front gate? I don't know how to open it."
"Of course, Adrien. But please make sure nobody else gets in."
"Yes, father. Thank you."
His father hung up and in only a couple of seconds, the gate was slowly pulled open. He entered, and the gate was locked as soon as he came in. He made sure that no one had gotten in.
