Third POV

Abhishek heads to the ground to bat along with Travis Head. He takes a peek at the VIP box , sees Ishita sitting with Kavya and his heart smiles. Meanwhile Ishita prays for Abhishek. She admires Virat a lot and has been supporting RCB from the start but when it comes to her man, she is willing to support him and his team with all her heart. The match begins and Travis Head starts hitting boundaries from the first ball itself while Abhishek is seen struggling to get the ball in the middle of his bat. Ishita gets stressed but then Abhishek gets back in form and scores 54 off 42 balls before he is caught out. He takes a peek at her after his 50 and sees her standing and clapping with joy and pride.

Abhishek heads towards the dressing room and after waiting for a few minutes, Ishita tells Kavya she's going to the washroom but goes towards the dressing room instead. On her way, she hears two girls talking, "Did you see how bad Abhishek's form was today? He took so many balls and had a low score. He never does that." "It's all because of that girl he hangs out with. She's distracting him from his game." Ishita's heart broke in pieces after hearing that. That was exactly why she was holding herself from getting into Abhishek's life romantically. She takes a u-turn and goes back to sit with Kavya. She was so upset but still had to act all cheerful for the camera and the people around her. (Off topic but she is a great actor. The way she hid her emotions for the whole game is worth mentioning) Meanwhile, Abhishek was waiting for her in the dressing room and he couldn't do anything about it till the game ended. Virat scored 106 off 71 balls and led RCB to the first win of the season. Though she was very happy as a RCB and Virat fan, she had to take the backlash of some of the SRH fans who blamed the loss on her and demanded to get her off the position. Isn't it crazy how people can switch so easily? These same people were applauding Ishita after her opening performance. And of course people love to blame everything on the women (Remember what Virushka had to go through?)

Ishita didn't give a fuck about the negative opinions. The only thing that hit here were the comments from those two girls earlier. After the game, Virat and Anushka come up to Ishita and the first thing Anushka does is give her a tight hug appreciating her stunning opening performance. It's so genuine and full of love that Ishita forgets about everything for some time. Virat tells Ishita, "Don't you dare let any of the negativity get to you! And I mean it. I thought some things might've changed over time but still, some people just.." "Love to blame the women" Ishita completes the sentence as she gives them a small smile. "I'm honestly trying my best to not get it to me and I think I am succeeding for the most part. But thank you so so much for talking to me." she continues. They wish her good luck and head back.

Ishita waits outside SRH's dressing room for them to get done with the after game meeting. As the members start heading out, Abhishek spots her. "Come with me" he says as he grabs her hand and takes her to the green room. "Kya kar raha hai Abhay?" says Ishita. He hugs her tightly, the tightest a hug could be. "I was waiting for you in the dressing room earlier. Kyu nahi aai?"
Ishita doesn't say anything. He lets go and gently lifts her chin to make her look directly in his eyes waiting for her to answer. "Kuch nahi it's just that I had to stay there to support the rest of the members batting as well right so I was just there for the whole game." she says while moving her eyes here and there.
Abhishek: I'm not buying that. Tu eye contact bhi maintain nahi kar paa rhi h. Can you please tell me the truth? (He put emphasis on the last sentence which makes Ishita sort of lose her temper)

Ishita: Fine you want the truth? Here's the truth. I am not good enough for you. This was my first time watching you live and you were struggling with your form. You've never taken so many balls and dropped your strike rate. I'm a distraction. I don't care about the people saying I shouldn't be SRH's brand ambassador because the same people were cheering for me after my opening performance. The team is strong and it will come back stronger. But anything related to you that goes wrong feels like my personal loss. So we should just keep our distance and try to stay away from each other. (She breaks down in tears)
