Aryan texted: "Can I come back or are you guys still busy?"

Abhishek texted: "Aaja"

ON THE TERRACE

Aryan (taking a deep breath): "What's up?"

Abhishek: "We're back on talking terms but not back into the relationship. Yet.

Aryan (suppressing a smile): "No problem, jaise karna hai karo. Bas door mat raho."

Ishita softly nods

Aryan (happily): "Gale lag jao yaar. I missed you both a lot!"

Abhishek and Ishita grin as the three share a tight hug and spend time with each other, reuniting.

The next day, Ishita, her team, Abhishek, and Umran leave for Hyderabad for the first IPL match between SRH and GT. Only a very few people who were around Abhishek and Ishita in the last three months knew about their break up. They didn't speak about Ishita's addiction or their breakup to their families. They told the ones who knew about their breakup that they were back on talking terms but will need their time to heal from what had happened.

IN THE FLIGHT

Abhishek (whispers to Ishita): "We don't have to pretend to be together in front of anyone. Your comfort is the priority."

Ishita (with a soft smile): "I want everyone to only focus on your game for the IPL season, not us. Let's just pretend everything between us is the same it's been since six years."

Abhishek: "Aur humari opening performance?"

Ishita: "That stays the same too."

Abhishek slightly nods.

ISHITA's POV

As much as I want to be with Abhishek, I am scared because of what happened 3 months ago. I don't know how much time I'm gonna need to get back to how we were. I am not able to bring myself to switch immediately. For now, all his focus should be on his captaincy and his game, not on me.

THIRD POV

Abhishek drifts in and out of sleep during the flight, his head bobbing slightly as he struggles to get comfortable.

Ishita (thinking): "Aise hi hilta dulta raha to iski body ki band baj jaegi."

With a soft smile, she gently shifts his head onto her shoulder. As he relaxes into her, his breathing evens out, and she finds herself watching him, her smile growing wider with every passing moment.

Ishita (whispers, taking a deep breath): "I love you."

Half asleep, Abhishek hides a small grin, his lips twitching as her words reach him.

IN THE STADIUM

Abhishek walks over to meet the teams, and as soon as he spots Shubman, they exchange tight hugs, chat and catch up after months.
