ISHITA's POV
It's been three months, 97 days to be exact since we got our baby twins. I and Abhay have been so busy parenting or at least trying to be good parents. When we get on the verge of losing our patience, we just fuel each other up with motivation. Taking care of two kids at a time can definitely get hectic but when they smile, laugh, look at us with those beautiful set of eyes, trust me, everything goes down the drain and it's just our two beautiful kids. Abhishek and I took parenting classes from our parents but excluded the parts we didn't like lmao.
But overall, the journey has been like a Pulse candy. Sweet but full of masala!
'Ishi, the baby is crying. I think we need to change the diaper." Abhishek calls out.
"Which one?" I ask. This is another thing that can get very confusing but I'm glad we have one boy and one girl so we can differentiate between them haha. How do people with both boys or both girls manage???
Cool I gotta go and look after my kids. So I'll let the third pov take over.
THIRD POV
The scene in the living room is pure family chaos—but in the best possible way. Ishita and Abhishek are on diaper duty with their son. The love, the laughter, the utter exhaustion—it's all part of their new reality.
Both Ishita and Abhishek decided to take a break from their professional lives and spend all their time with their kids. But they still have to name their kids. Whenever they get suggestions for the names, they end up arguing and can't get to a decision. This is the family's 8th time sitting together through the video call to decide on the names. Ishita and Abhishek took their joke from years back too seriously and decided on the nicknames. Any guesses?
Jalebi for the baby boy and Barfi for the baby girl!!!
Abhishek's dad, holding Barfi gently in his arms, suggests, "Kiara kaisa rahega?"
Ishita immediately responds, "Nahi Papaji! It's cute, but remember? We agreed—no celebrity names!"
Sonia: "How about Priyanshi?"
Ishita's mom: "Or Shubhangi?"
Abhishek (finishing up on changing the diaper): "I don't know. We need something simple. Kuch aisa ho jo fatafat muh se nikal jaaye."
Yug (with a straight face): "Thook" (Spit)
The room falls silent. Then, a burst of laughter from everyone—Abhishek shaking his head, Ishita rolling her eyes, and the rest of the family grinning.
Ishita (disgusted): "Yahi harkatein kariyo humesha, gawaar saala."
Abhishek (equally disgusted): "Apne bacchon ka naam rakhio: Thook."
The family erupts in giggles, momentarily distracted from their mission.
Ishita's dad: "Bacchon ki personalities aur behavior ke according naam rakh sakte hain."
Ishita (thinking): "Humare to dono bacche hi aafat hain."
Ishita and Abhishek look at each other and grin on how same yet different their kids are from each other.
After thinking for a while, Amayra comes up with a name.
Amayra: "How does Anvika sound?"
Everyone thinks for a moment and nods with smiles.
Ishita (grins): "Perfect! Anvika sounds great!"
Abhita throw flying kisses at Amayra on the screen, and she returns them happily.
