At the Airport

ISHITA'S POV

I take a few deep breaths, trying to focus on my work. It's my first project, my first step in Bollywood. I meet Tani, Kanika, Simran, and Shanaya, and we head together to Delhi. I realize they're all older than me—Kanika is 24, Simran and Shanaya are 23, and Tani is 21 but still a few months older than me. What if I hesitate to give them any orders or suggestions because I'm the youngest? I don't want to offend them.

THIRD POV

Tani notices Ishita lost in her thoughts.

Tani: "Oye, relax kar! I've talked to all three of them, and they want you to treat them like colleagues and friends. We all know you respect us. So, behave like you would normally do with me, for example."

Ishita (smiling): "Tujhe kaise pata chal jaata hai ki main kya soch rahi hu?"

Tani: "Bas yun hi. Bluetooth connect ho jaata hai."

Ishita: "Kanika is from Ludhiana, Simran from Gujarat, Shanaya from Bangalore, and you're from Delhi. So, I want different food every day, got it?"

The girls giggle and nod. They talk about their journeys, likes, dislikes, how they ended up doing what they do, and bond well over the flight. Some fans approach Ishita for selfies and autographs, which lifts her mood as she chats and laughs with them.

ISHITA'S POV

We check into the hotel and meet the rest of the cast. We're told to rest and unpack for the day since shooting starts tomorrow. My team and I are given two rooms with two beds each, but we end up staying in the same room for the night, chatting and spending time together. We all mingle well, which is a relief—I wouldn't want my team to lack chemistry. I also feel like I'm going to end up with an amazing group of friends for a long time.

THIRD POV

Shanaya: "Tum sab log single ho ya relationships mein?"

Ishita and Tani raise their eyebrows slightly.

Kanika: "I'm in a relationship. He lives in Ludhiana, but he'll be moving to Bombay for his job in a few months."

Simran: "I'm single but not ready to mingle."

Tani: "I'm in a relationship. Both of us have to travel for our professions, but we're making it work."

Shanaya: "I'm single, but I really want to meet someone special."

Everyone looks at Ishita, making her nervous.

Kanika (softly): "Hey Ishita, agar nahi batana to it's okay. We understand."

Ishita: "Nahi, it's just that I'm trying to keep it as private as possible, so I would expect you guys to keep it within the room, please."

Simran: "Of course! We're a team, and anything that's between us remains exactly like that."
The others nod in agreement, and Ishita smiles.
